Although you personally haven't offended me, you have just reminded me I had a dream last night where a few of us were in Madrid after a game and the locals were just being horrible then trying to pick off stragglers and beat them up, not only that but they were obviously kick boxers so it was even more of a shit house move, I went back in and wasn't happy with the locals but tried to keep my cool till one tried to take the piss and I was about to get a punch in before being jumped on by him and his mates but woke up. I obviously know it was a dream but I'm still slightly in the huff with you.6 points

Proud of the lads tonight, liverpool scored two quality goals that can happen if we play high up the pitch. Which we need to, to allow our players to press. Once we went down to 10 they grafted their tits off, a couple of years ago we lose that 6-0. It’s a shame to lose Pope for the final but Karius will be fine.5 points

What cunt started this thread?5 points

We responded well. But its a reality check too. We have too much shite to get rid of and replace. I don't think we should have started Anderson tbh. Maxi, well done lad you were the best man on the pitch.4 points

Klopp's teeth man. I can't get over them. All the money that cunt must have and he's gone to fucking Mexico to get his gnashers done.4 points

Look at Klopp in that clip at the end of the Anfield match. Grinning and gesturing at our bench. What a fucking cunt that bloke is.4 points

I did chuckle how he brought it up again, complete with a backhanded, patronising compliment to Eddie Howe He’s such a wanker4 points

Awful but not unexpected news. I don’t even want to think about how desperate the situation must be there and in the other countries affected by this.4 points

This is so sad. As someone points out on this thread, many celebrating in the crowd would also have died. 😢3 points

We should absolutely appeal tbh. The absolute fewmmmm if it got overturned or it delayed the ban long enough for him to play.3 points

Jamie Redknapp was saying he thinks a) there were defenders there, and b) if that's an outfield player it's a yellow, so why a red for a keeper. I almost felt a bit bad for calling his dad a scrotum face.3 points

He's going to Karius to glory3 points

Nice cameo from Ritchie this.3 points

I love Joelinton, man. Desperate to stay on 2-0 down and a man down. There are many players who'd absolutely love to be taken off in those circumstances and he's there almost conducting a one-man mutiny because he wants to stay on the pitch and fight our way back into the game. What a guy.3 points

Ritchie defrosted out of his cryochamber, big Joe not wanting to come off.3 points

Take him off for radge Ritchie and let him two foot Salah in the face.3 points

It's really the hope that kills you. If this was any other season it'd be painful but still kind of comical as we put in a typical home performance against a "Top 6" opponent. It would be a rather meaningless low in the context of a season of mediocre highlights and average performances. I suppose it's something positive to take from the situation that it hurts so much more because we're supposed to be better than this now. It sure doesn't feel like that is much solace at this point. It just seems like we've done what we always do and turned possibility into disappointment, and disappointment into complete disaster. Beyond this there are undoubtedly more bright times ahead, but I really hope that one day those bright times can turn into fairy tale results instead of just more, worse, nightmares.3 points

Well thats them finishing 4th NAILED ON.3 points

I know it was a moment of madness and it happens, but I've been mad at Bruno almost every single minute of the last 3 games And now Pope ffs. I thought we were past these typical Newcastle self destruct moments.3 points

We’ve been much better since going down to ten men. A loss here might be the kick up the arse the team needs.3 points

My head and my heart don't want to see you dancing in Trafalgar Square next weekend no matter what happens. But otherwise a sensible post. But I wouldn't discount the psychological effect of the club winning something, it's always been the missing part of the jigsaw imo.3 points

Why are we looking to choose between one or the other? I'd love us to get Champs league qualification, and I'd love to see us to the red Mancs next week. If I had to choose, it would be to win a cup. The other will sort itself out.3 points

As Alex says, awful but not unexpected news. I hope he died in the initial collapse, as I can’t think of many worse ways to go than the alternative. RIP3 points

Enrique was excellent in the promotion year and good in the first year in the PL with workaholic Jonas in front of him. Beresford was superb in the promotion season, consistently brilliant in the PL and the only time people had any moans about him is when he had Ginola in front of him and we conceded. For all Dalglish's faults when he put Elliott in front of Bez we went on a good run clinching second spot for the second year in a row but this time from about 6th. Bez was consistently good and largely consistently good in the PL. Enrique had one good PL season with us, fucked off, licked red arse whilst largely sat on the bench at best then did after his career ended including when they played us. He can absolutely fuck off if he tries to backtrack, when it's all 'we' and 'us' when they played us at their place with big smiles when they beat us.3 points

Howay like, never mind Liverpool, I'd take losing to the Mackems and half a season of "7 in a row marra" if it meant silverware next week.3 points
