Just need the shirt released with a 25m a year Saudi Airlines deal, and announcement of a triple signing of Diaby, Botman, and Lodi to wrap the week up and cause the national press to implode.5 points

They're just gonna sign him instead apparently, as a "statement of intent". https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/hendo-statement-of-intent.1580848/4 points

Aye. I can’t imagine any other set of fans turning out like that. Won two of the competitions they entered and were runners up in the remaining two.4 points

Couldn't believe I saw NUFC fans congratulating them - even if they're politically ignorant, have they forgotten Ian fucking Woan?4 points

I am delighted to be leaving the country on Thursday and not returning until Monday. Thoroughly recommended.4 points

Can't argue with any of this. My son and his mates were adamant falling behind would spur Liverpool on. It was inevitable to me Madrid would just shut up shop and it'd finish 1-0. As you say, reminiscent of the vintage Milan sides. Classic Italian / Ancelotti style of play. And for all the plaudits Klopp and Guardiola get, Ancelotti gets somewhat overlooked despite being the only manager to win all 5 top European leagues and the only manager to win 4 Champions Leagues.4 points

I am looking forward what he is telling the press about what was going on there. The way Man United were playing had no resemblance of his football philosophy. Either he was not good enough to make players getting accustomed to his game plan or the players simply did not accept his methods and ideas. Anyway, I feared he would do a fantastic job there but am more than happy about his total failure.3 points

Aye. Particularly as they literally aren’t the favourites to win next season’s Premier League or Champions League (unsurprisingly Man City are).2 points

The summer before his last season for Hibs he played cricket for Kelso, a fuckin great lad, had time for everyone and shagged every decent looking lass in town I wasn’t jealous of him or anything, no, nope..2 points

This will be the appointment that sets it all off, I’d say. Ashworth with a blank cheque and reign to pick out the best of the best to work under him is genuinely stiffy-causing2 points

Okay, who's going to admit they had one of those, used it twice, and chucked in a cupboard afterwards, before chucking it out 5 years later? CT? Clearly, not me2 points

I think the save from Mane was the only save that wasn’t relatively routine by Courtois. If you fail to take your chances you’re not unlucky. Also like we’ve said before, they man-marked our best player when they played us at SJP and they basically just wound the clock down for the last quarter of the game. Presumably that’s ok with Klopp because they won. Howay is spot on when he says Klopp is everyone’s mate when he wins and a snide cunt when things don’t go his way.2 points
