You don't know how difficult it is to be an Atlético fan and live in the same city as Real Madrid.8 points

Hey fuckhead, you've played in three finals this year and haven't scored a single goal. Maybe look a bit closer to home for what's wrong and cut out the theatrical sighing about the opposition. Or don't, and continue to fall short. Actually do that.4 points

Give the trampy grifter his due mind, he's sharp cottoned on to their absolute need to be admired, flattered or just even mentioned by someone else.4 points

This stupid cunt. Social media is the worst thing ever to happen to MPs cos it just allows them to expose themselves as the unserious, lad from school who you block on Facebook cos he's fucking weird and full of shit, cunts that they are. Even worse than that is that the public sees this stuff - a bloke actually not just having absolute contempt for the British public, but actively choosing to put it on front street for everyone to see - and will vote the prick back in again.4 points

What a depressingly predictable turn of events this is how some MPs got us to where we are now….4 points

Multiple reports this morning that the "independent" Sue Gray Report that we all had to wait for to find out the truth about the parties was personally edited by Steven Barclay to remove certain things that Johnson didn't want included. Once again, the lying cunt cannot extract himself from a pickle of his own making because he's had to layer more corruption and lies on top of it. Anyone even producing their letter from this point onwards can fuck off. If it takes this much for you to finally do the right thing, you're not a person who believes in doing the right thing, you've just finally reached the point where you can no longer limbo under the low standards you've set for yourself and this govt.4 points

Michael Owen: Liverpool are still the best team in Europe. Didn't win their own league, didn't win the European Cup, taken to penalties twice in the domestic cups. Shut your face fat boy.4 points

It’s his constant being a prick to reporters when they lose, and then acting like everyone is his mate and he’s this affable bloke when they win as well. Like on that clip where he starts being a prick to the woman asking what the key difference between winning and losing in the game was - the question wasn’t phrased well but it’s fairly clear she was asking if he thought there was a key moment or key turning point like the save from Mane’s shot, instead he just chooses to be a pedantic bellend. I’m sure we will all get told how amazing he is as a bloke and that we should be rooting for him next season as per usual. While I expected to see it I still don’t like that there’s this desire to heap plaudits on Liverpool and kind of frame Real Madrid’s win as a fluke. It reminded me a lot of when Benitez managed us and there were games where despite us being in our half for long stretches we only allowed the opposition to attack certain ways before nullifying it. Ancelotti outcoached Klopp imo, Klopp can keep complaining when these results happen or he can figure out a way to break down this type of set up rather than just writing it off as some mystery/fluke/saying ‘we did enough to win’ type things. Liverpool did very well for most of the first half but at the same time Real Madrid defended very well which in the modern game tends to get ignored and when attacking teams lose it becomes this story of how the other team clung on. I’m one that normally thinks the English superiority complex about other leagues can be a bit overstated, but this final fucking reeked of it. The pre-tournament favorites were no doubt PSG, Man City, Liverpool, and Chelsea - Real Madrid beat them all, Liverpool played Inter, Benfica, and Villarreal. You can only beat who was put in front of you but fucking hell man if a team wins with that run you have to say fair play.3 points

I think the save from Mane was the only save that wasn’t relatively routine by Courtois. If you fail to take your chances you’re not unlucky. Also like we’ve said before, they man-marked our best player when they played us at SJP and they basically just wound the clock down for the last quarter of the game. Presumably that’s ok with Klopp because they won. Howay is spot on when he says Klopp is everyone’s mate when he wins and a snide cunt when things don’t go his way.2 points

Could anything be more on brand for those half an half scarf wearing day trippers? “Remember to bring your wicker picnic baskets to all of the bees home games, win, lose, or draw we will hand out Tumeric so you and the whole family have a great day regardless”.2 points

Watched this match down south. It was so weird, a few neutrals enjoying the game, some southern liverpool fans and a lot wanting them to lose. My & my cousin pretty much agreed after 20 minutes that R Madrid were gonna pinch it. Liverpool could have played till midnight and not scored. One of those nights.2 points

Mr charisma turning into a petty bellend when things don’t go his way yet again. The narrative emerging about Real Madrid being lucky to be there btw, on one hand yes they had a ridiculous turnaround against Man City and got through tight games, but on the other hand they had to play PSG, Chelsea, and Man City in the knock outs - so fair play.2 points

Think they’re probably just concerned they might lose their seat at this point. Like you say, this shouldn’t be the final straw given what’s go on in general2 points

Not at all, liverpools xg was 6.12 across their three finals this season and they scored 0. Nothing confusing about it, they bottled it in front of goal and were lucky to come away from those games with two cups.2 points

Tooj went to see Peter Hook’s band doing New Order / Joy Division stuff recently. He said he was half expecting it to be short but he was really good apparently. What I thought was canny is it was only about £15 a ticket. Good to see artists doing it for the love of it and the fans for a change1 point

Not to discredit the whole hologram experience but wouldn’t you get a better experience out of watching a good tribute band? I saw a Swedish ABBA tribute band that had full backing, all the gear and everything else and it was fucking mint. Went out and bought a a Volvo off the back of it1 point
