  3. It's incredibly crass from Curry who is proving herself to be an absolutely vile human being. The sense of guilt you have when you lose someone close to you and you are not there for them is fucking devastating. It eats away at you as you wonder how they felt, if they knew why you weren't there at the end, that they died alone. For God's sake, if for nothing else, Johnson has to go for the healing to even begin. And I'll send him my counselling bill while I'm at it.

  4. If they stay up the media chorus will be that he did a fantastic job saving them after the disaster that was Rafa. Now he's got a pre- season watch Everton fly! Their main source of money has been sanctioned, they are fucked by FPP, they are not paying off another manager before the start of the season

  5. I’m fucking raging about this. Everyone will have their own story. One of our group from Uni died of a massive heart attack at the start of lockdown. It happened in front of his wife and 7 year old twins. None of us were allowed to attend his funeral to support them. We abided by the rules that they put in place and then chose to disregard themselves. the refusal to resign, whilst accepting what they did was wrong is just further insult. Utterly shameful.

  10. I feel like most people jokingly hold Gloom up as TT's representative of the BBC/MSM, but that Renton genuinely holds him responsible for their actions.

  11. In the BBC's defence we don't know what was cut. He could have went on a five minute rant about Brexit that was cut for time. They may have simply cut out the word 'Brexit' in which case it's a different story. But simply put the only thing we really know is that Gloom is a Tory shill.

  12. Yeah, like when they prefix their sentences with "I think the people want us to get on with the job of blah blah", or "I don't think people care about blah blah"...... You don't speak for me or millions of others, you absolute cunts.

  13. for me it’s “the people’s priorities”. Like they have a fucking clue what those are

  14. Before he got a proper role in government, that prick was prepared to go on TV and absolutely debase himself, telling whatever the lie of the day was and defending the indefensible. When you now realise that he was absolutely fucking loaded, it brings into focus just how much of a power hungry little prick he is. It was all about showing his loyalty so he could make his way to the top job. What a greasy little cunt.

  15. Tbf I think they're consistent on this with their own managers too. It would explain why they hound them out when they're in third and safely set for promotion - made up stats and general nonsense which they goad each other into believing. So I don't think this time it's necessarily that they're plainly and openly biased.. I think they're just fucking morons.

  21. To be fair, You can't blame Sunderland's two best strikers that they've had since I've been watching football, Gabbiadini and Phillips, for jumping ship when the big guns of Crystal Palace and Southampton came calling.

  22. Yeah. I’ve mentioned before it’s one of several examples where his talk about self-sustainability was shown up to be absolute bollocks. He only ever thought in terms of getting through the season unscathed

  26. Rightly so. Brexit was CT’s fault after all. It’s only fair I’m held to similar standards

  27. Yeah, I thought this too and why aren't journalists bringing this up? I would ask @Dr Gloom, but I expect I will just get the Kerry Katona gif in response because that's literally the standard of journalism nowadays.

  32. Given that Sunak is “only” paid £150k ( his combined MP and Chancellor salaries), it makes you wonder why he and his Mrs. are now prepared to pay several millions in taxes to keep him there, doesn’t it?

  33. In the league(s) since Jan 1st... Newcastle have scored 1.25 gpg Sunderland on the other hand have scored a massive 1.29 gpg. Which is impressive given that every game is someone's cup final. Newcastle have conceded 1 gpg Sunderland have conceded 1.35 gpg. I mean it is a tough league, and they have had some managerial complications. Therefore, Newcastle are +0.25 gdpg this year. Sunderland are -0.06 gdpg. I can't be arsed to investigate their goals, even this is pathetic.

  34. Listening to tory apologists on R5 constantly minimise it ("it's basically a parking ticket") one after the other is sickening. The amount of division this cunt generates is unreal. Destroying the country from within. I hope there's something left of this country when this cunt finally goes.

  43. Tricky game coming up for them- they face their former assistant manager Steve Cotterill who will have been preparing his Shrewsbury side all season for this, their cup final. They’ll leave their train at Derby, then get the 56 to Stoke, and then a short wait for the 72 Express to their Travelodge at the Dobbies just a short walk from Shrewsbury’s ground.

  44. Steve Barnes had suffered. Again. He had fought hard. Fought clean and fair, but once again his detractors - those persistently meddling fans - had hurt him. They never liked him. It was always bacon this and tactics that. They know fuck all, he consoled himself. He was down, but not out. He would lick his wounds, eat a few packs of Scampi Fries and take some time off to test drive a few choice motors. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but if I'm cruising down the A1(M) at 90 with a mpg over 40 - well, those sticks won't stick in my craw, and these stones won't go unturned my friend. These stones are not for not turning. Steve smiled as he polished off his Steak Bake, he was beginning to feel better already.
