  1. It’s impressive tbf. His commitment to being wrong on every single fucking point is admirable. Inferring Sean Dyche and Steve Bruce could be top 6 managers? Wrong, there’s a reason they’ve never had that opportunity. Supporters on his back? Wrong, he wasn’t met with horrible backlash from the fans, just apathy and resignation that we had to get behind him as it was what it was, he got his chance and he failed miserably then got out of any fan dissent by virtue of playing in an empty stadium. The players praising him? Find what Jack Grealish has said about him in the past, or just look at the way our current lot tip toe around the fact Bruce’s “training” was a total fucking joke. Another bit of bullshit that the atmosphere was bad, again as ewerk pointed out the bloke was doing a shocking job before the fans were back. To be honest when the fans did get back he actually got backing that he absolutely did not deserve, I remember annoyance from many after hearing “Brucey give us a wave” chants so aye total bullshit. I won’t accept “it was going to be difficult because Ashley wasn’t liked” he knew the job he was taking he’s a grown man with 20 years in management you can’t keep throwing that in as an excuse if he chose to take the role, he did it purely for money and another crack at a PL job both of which wholly undeserved. How many promotions has he won? 4 or 5 in a 20+ year career? It’s not impressive, especially given basically all of the sides he led to promotion were either big sides with money or had recently dropped out the PL anyway. There’s no Howe type building a club through the leagues story here. One of his promotions with Birmingham he had the largest transfer budget in the division by a long way. He’s not a good manager and never has been. You also can’t just brush off the terrible job he’s doing at West Brom - that’s an absurd thing to do he’s literally come in and destroyed their play off hopes. His record speaks for itself? It does aye but it’s not speaking the way you’re framing it, one of the worst managers of all time in the PL. Spent the most in Championship history on a recently relegated side and led them to a mid table finish. Aye good manager, sure. Also the number of good jobs he had isn’t a support of him, the fact he’s had so many shows he’s crap and is inexplicable at the same time I still don’t understand why WBA appointed him. There’s some weird bit where it seems like he’s saying Sam Allardyces teams play good football and Bruce is trying to also have the team play good football? That’s insane, absolutely fucking insane. The next bit basically implies WBA have one of the best squads in the division, the fact they’re plummeting like a stone with this squad after hiring Bruce is contradicting his points that Bruce is a good manager. Bruce is a winner? As a player yes, but as a manager absolutely not, he’s a serial loser, at this point he comes in and makes teams instantly worse and less effective so again it’s nonsense to claim he’s a winner. I’m also tired of seeing Bruce’s name put in with Howe and Dyche type managers. The latter two have worked hard to carve out reputations and have done things Bruce has never come close to doing ever in management, it’s disrespectful putting him with managers of that level. He’s basically coasted through a 20+ year management career getting jobs off the back of his playing career or from mates. TLDR: suck my plums Wilder you mentalist.

  3. I lived there for 3 years. You should feel no guilt, it’s a cesspit of misery, ignorance and bigots. I remember so much unecessary inconvenience, hassle and stress. A few doors down from us there was a refugees home - they were frequently abused and the house was eventually set afire. I think someone died. Some cunt broke into my shitty old car and because he failed to hotwire it he proceeded to write it off from the inside. Someone crashed into the back of my car and stalked me and my lass for MONTHS to try and prove we weren’t injured - we were. He ended up making up all this bollocks he had video evidence of us at a company picnic. Picnics in Sunderland man. Some cunt broke into the empty house next door and evidently disappointed that the empty house had nothing to steal spent some time removing brickwork IN THE FUCKING ATTIC so they could access our loft and nicked my camping gear and Atari ST from up there. I was set upon by about 15 teenagers for no reason. I was mugged at knifepoint for £5. The fucking “responsible person” our landlord gave the key to STOLE OUR FUCKING MAIL. We found all my wife’s birthday cards in a fucking bush when we were walking the dog. Some MOUTHBREATHING amoeba from Ponshon drove clean through a STOP sign at 30 mph into my car and permanently fucked my spine. His daughter, who was sat in the back of his car, latterly launched a personal injury claim against me ffs. 😂 These are the first few things off the top of my head. They’d be utterly fucked without Nissan and of course collectively they couldn’t even see this. There are some decent mackems but almost all of them have got the fuck out. At least to Washington. Fuck them marra.

  7. I can't muster up much hatred for Kinear. He was basically a senile old piss head plucked from a care home to run a premier league team. He probably wasn't being trusted to dress himself before he turned up here. I almost just feel sorry for him. Souness, Allardyce and Bruce are far and away the biggest cunts we've ever had here.

  8. Very attune to things like that the mackems. Even to the point they are incapable of making packed lunches, that they’ve been making without fail for 60 years, because of tensions in Ukraine. I assume the constant pressures of the geopolitical climate is why they’re seemingly such a pack of workshy bastards, can’t bring themselves to get out of bed with the stress of it all. I also assume it’s what caused all of Shaun Middletons teeth to fall out. Btw, I find it hilarious that they keep getting all excited whenever some random Italian junk news source pulls that PiF want to buy Inter story up again, have they genuinely not realized by this point it’s complete and utter fucking nonsense . Without fail though whenever it’s reported anywhere, regardless of how clearly untrustworthy the source, they’re buzzing about it. They then immediately start acting like it has happened “just a feyydahhh club them marras”.

  10. I think you’re wrong, Tom. I know Shaun Middleton has had deep concerns about the situation in Yemen for a long time. He’s also felt very strongly about what happened to Jamal Khashoggi and the impact on his former fiancé. The fact he never mentioned it before the takeover shouldn’t detract from that

  11. What gets me is that the government have successfully conned a lot of the public into believing we have had a "good" pandemic. We've had a disastrous pandemic by any metric be that health, emotional, or economic. They've used it to financially enrich themselves and their mates, and to further increase the desperate inequalities facing this country. And they're still doing it now. Absolute shower of cunts.

  14. Fucking hell man. It is a total fucking shithole like. I think I’ve told it before on here but growing up I’d sometimes work a bit for my dad as a laborer on the sites/odd jobs places. Once we went to this council estate in Sunderland for some contract to install electric fireplaces iirc. This one bloke told us this story about how he took a load of drugs and went for a walk along a beach (as you do, think it was Seaham he said), he said this big monster started following him and he told himself it was just the drugs, eventually he got a bit paranoid about it and started legging it but the monster caught him and started biting at his legs. Turned out the daft fucker was getting attacked by a stray dog on the beach while off his nut . That whole estate was brutal tbh. Just never ending bother with tools getting nicked, people refusing to let us in as they were pretty much dealing drugs out the back and didn’t want to get reported (but we needed to sign off that we’d installed these daft fire places). Shit hole.

  17. What is nailed on though, is that they'll find a new way to fuck up this season. Sacking the manager when they could have well hit a run of form at any time and exposing themselves as skint charlatans is certainly a good start but they'll find someway to fuck it up royally on the pitch too. My pipe dream is Defoe missing a penalty on the last day and ensuring they miss the playoffs.

  19. The Saudis aren't interested man, Staveley is a tyre kicker Bid accepted The Premier League will never let the deal go through Takeover confirmed Well of course it's gone through, the Premier League is corrupt, but they'll never attract good players. Trippier, Guimaraes, Burn, Targett, Wood sign Well the good players have only come for the money, and the rest are crap Now we're on the "The Saudis will lose interest" plus "asterisk" and "blood money", stages of denial. Gets to the point where you have to ask; are these straws you grasp at helping, or breaking your back?

  20. He’s done really well, particularly relative to expectations. I’m happy with him getting an extension if Howe’s happy, I suppose would be my way of looking at it. I’m not sure some of these people in the media see more than 5 mins highlights though. We’ve had them telling us what a massive blow it was when Lascelles was out injured earlier in the season even though he’d been playing shite

  22. Aye they’re completely broken like They’d snap their hands off for any decent owner, never mind an owner with the ambition to be the biggest club in the world with a bank balance to match. Aye even the official club twitter account was taking the piss when it fell through. Not laughing now are they? When Man City pipped Man U to the league the entire of the stadium of light did the Poznań. Weren’t bothered about blood money or asterisks then were they? I don’t recall one of the most iconic moments in premier league history being tarnished by blood money. Aagggguueeeerrroooooooo 🙄

  24. After staying away, I'm back again foaming (and not in the "good way"). How the fuck has the tactic of saying something publicly that directly contradicts your own published documents - worked as a political tactic? Trump did it all the time, sometimes contradicting himself, in his own speeches! Boris is doing it now "dont throw caution to the wind" while throwing caution to the wind (no isolation! with 50k+ cases a day, higher deaths per week than we've had for 8 months) Oh and here's the published "expert advice" from the SPI-B team S1514_SPI-B_note_on_lifting_restrictions.pdf (publishing.service.gov.uk) Specifically - dont drop isolation and let the NHS give the message not the politicians because trust is lost. Also , pay good sick pay to allow people to isolate - Gvt has quietly dropped that too , no more isolation payments and no more (pathetic) SSP at day 1. Have a read if you want - some "High confidence" snippets: If testing ceases to be encouraged or facilitated, then, for the public, Covid-19 symptoms will become ever more subsumed into the broader, ill-defined set of respiratory-illness symptoms that are common in the population and will be treated by the public in the same way as any other symptom [High confidence] Any withdrawal of free testing for those experiencing possible Covid symptoms or ending of requirements to isolate for those with Covid may unintentionally communicate the message to some that it is acceptable to continue with social contacts regardless of infection or symptoms. This may have particularly adverse impacts on the ability of some employees to take sick leave when experiencing (possible) symptoms. For many years, NHS advice on what people experiencing flu-like symptoms should do has been to stay off work or school until recovered. 5 Very often, this advice is not followed, increasing the risk of transmission [High confidence] Previous attempts in other countries to reduce rates of infectious illness by providing improved sick pay have proved effective: as fewer sick staff attend work, less transmission occurs, leading to fewer staff absences overall.12 13 Unfortunately, trials of interventions that encourage and enable more people to stay at home when ill are lacking in the literature it is advisable to build on the ongoing strong public trust in the NHS, which suggests that now may be a good time to shift responsibility for messaging from central government to public health agencies (NHS, UKHSA) [High confidence]. The profile of the NHS is obviously greater than the UKHSA, so that would be the preferred trusted source, though coherence and visibility of messaging remains important across a variety of sources If the legal requirement to self-isolate when testing positive is lifted and becomes an item of public health guidance, it is also likely to lead to further ambiguity among the public about the need for strict adherence. This will disproportionately impact vulnerable sections of the population, for example those who face greater pressures to work outside the home when ill because of financial hardship, precarious employment or caring responsibilities [Medium to high confidence]. 38 Evidence from multiple rounds of the ONS Opinions and Lifestyles Survey show that, throughout the pandemic, only a minority of the population report that they are able to work from home. The majority report travelling to work at all times.39 mental... I want an uprising, seriously. Even if this works out - how the hell are they getting away with everything that's happened over the last 2 years , so many dead - painted as "vulnerable or cripples anyway" A BMI > 30 is a comorbidity. Or this whole "dying with covid is in the government stats" , when AGAIN it's published on their own fucking site that the ONS figures are Covid listed as a CAUSE of death on the certificate. aaaand relax.. Brrrrrrrruuuuuuuuunnnnooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  36. NATO is Putin’s narrative. Ukraine as an independent nation wouldn’t be admitted to NATO as long as Hungary and Poland are members. All nations need to agree to accept new members and these two would reject the proposal immediately due to Putin having his hand up their metaphorical arses . Putin needs to die in power, he’s a dictator. To get rid of him the west need to provoke his inner circle into doing it themselves. The article I posted the other day had it right, western governments need to start squeezing the Oligarchs’ bollocks. It is, after all, mostly Putin’s wealth they are hiding. Get every UK citizen who wants to leave out of Russia/Eastern Europe then declare war on Russia without firing a shot and literally intern every Oligarch in London. Do the same in Paris, New York and Miami, close down the banks laundering the roubles and intern their directors for benefitting from the proceeds of crime. His goons will then soon take him out. We’ve got to do something, he’s holding the world to ransom. Fuck knows what comes next after all that, but we’ve got start somewhere or this is the future for our kids, being servile to that fuckin psycho. Fuck that.
