I'll be honest I'm not that bothered about relegation. If it happens it happens but at the start of the season if you'd offered me the chance if being the relegated and being shot of Ashley I would have snap accepted even without the added bonus of being the richest club in the world On reflection I think Eddie Howe was the best choice that was actually available, I couldn't have stomached Slippy G even if he turns out to be decent With regard to Howe if he works out great, if he doesn't we will be further into the building stage and they can punt him and get somebody else. The clubs on the rollercoaster now and I'm just going to enjoy the ride4 points

I don't think people would be up in arms if Ashley had appointed him. We have had 2 games under him. 1 game we drew, without him able to attend in person, due to a few poor individual errors. The next game we lost, as was expected. What has not been factored in is the impact of Howe also not being at the training ground each day. Before he tested positive a lot was made of the impact he was having in each training session. I cannot believe that anyone who has seen a game before Brentford and then watch the last two games could still think we are in the same level of trouble. Yes, we are in trouble but we are in a far better place. If Bruce could fluke some wins with the way we were playing then we are definitely able to manage some now.4 points

One thing relegation will hit us with long term is a dent in our FFP capabilities as we'll obviously take a big hit with a year of shit TV revenue. We could really do without it. I had my doubts about Howe and our personnel as can he tailor his football style to the current squad? Don't get me wrong, he's a far, far better prospect than the meat loaf who was previously in the dugout with his Steve meatballs but I can't say it didn't slightly worry me. Again, not the only to say it but we need some fucking bright buttons in charge of recruitment with good contacts and who look at the 'couldn't get it over the line' craic like superman looks at kryptonite. That's how we're staying up alongside competent coaching. Any hold ups are potentially fatal for this season and will put us back at least two years if not more.3 points

Well he would have crashed the server with statistically spurious claims to show how, in fact, he was a brilliant lad and not at all a tedious arsehole. So, really, you should be thanking me for keeping my powder dry. yakunt2 points

£10 million fee. £7m goes to club £1m goes to Willie Mckay £0.5m goes to player £1.5m goes in a brown bag to Souness. That about right?2 points

Don't disagree with any of that. (Notes he waits till he's fucked off to say it).2 points

The DoF is massive. I’d be feeling a lot more confident if they announce whoever it is sooner rather than later so they have time to get the transfers lined up in early January. We can’t afford to be leaving it till the end of the window to add reinforcements. There are winnable games in January.2 points

What a precious little cunt. We say there are flaws in ASM's game and this prick tells us all we're dead wrong and he's NOT absolute shite. Like that was anything like what we were saying. He can fucking do one. There've been plenty of people come on here and been welcomed. Blastronaut sticks in my mind. Just turned up one day, was funny and not a bellend and is now part of the furniture. If this shitbag thinks there won't be a bad reaction to someone that by turning up, telling everyone they're wrong and shitting his bad attitude all over the gaff? Well, then he's a muggy cunt.2 points

I'm not sure we can blame Howe for our defensive displays just yet. He's inherited a team of (at best) championship defenders. It's testament to Rafa that he somehow made them look competent over successive seasons. Lejeune and Fede were probably our best 2 and we sold one and have sent the other to Coventry for some reason2 points

From a pure defensive improvement pov we need Fernandez, Dummet and sadly Manquillo as best of a bad bunch.2 points

Look, I said the site I read it on was a disaster. The article was confused as fuck - is he a Barcelona player? If so, then that's who we've made the offer to, but we asked City to pass it on.2 points

This mantra of “we didn’t deserve anything” out of the game is patently bollocks, three clear penalty claims utterly ignored by ALL the officials and a Shelvey effort that plenty of times could have counted. From what I remember teams don’t have to dominate or necessarily be the best overall to grab a point or even three. We were denied clear, decent chances by blinkered officials and a very decent goalkeeper.2 points

If we can't beat Norwich and Burnley at home then you do have to wonder who we will actually be able to beat. I do think relegation is a very realistic possibility but I'm not concerned about it that much. If it happens, the owners plans for the club will be delayed but that's all really. If we'd been relegated with Ashley, Penfold and Bruce still there I don't think we'd have been coming back up for a long time.1 point

I've worked from home for the last 17 years and I'm completely normal. But aye, I do tend to agree really. It's not for everyone and to be honest, if my company had an office here I'd be up for going hybrid. So to speak.1 point

Right, the budget’ll stretch to one cameraman, a bloke with an equity card dressed as a copper and his missus who likes dressing up as a traffic warden. The location’s that market on Shadwell High Street. They’ve got that nutter there who dresses like a cartoon burglar, we'll rope him in. Yeah, don’t worry, we’ll tell the blacks there’s an NF rally that afternoon. The script? You just mime the words and grab whatever’s close, women, dogs, eggs, kids, use your initiative1 point
