This bloke wants credit just for the impression of smugness that the usual suspects always have let alone the actual sketch.4 points

Funny, I don't recall at any other time in my life Christmas needed saving. Now twice in a row just after Brexit? Seems the plan is to lower expectations on Brexit so low anything that is approaching normality is a massive win.4 points

Does anyone know what the Newcastle United 1892 Consortium, or to give him his other name, Keith from Gateshead, thinks?3 points

Don’t worry you can tell us. Few people read this forum and fewer read your posts 😬3 points

How random. Is Masters supposed to be frightened? He’s not intimidated by Ashley and his billions, but oh no here comes Mr Newcastle Consortium Supporters with his buccaneering Twitter account! I confess your honour, it was me all along!3 points

He was asked what was more important. He couldn’t really say anything else. It’s a stupid fucking question but it’s no surprise people are using it as a stick to beat him with (not you btw). As you allude to later, the likes of the Guardian should ask themselves - what’s more important, winning the argument or winning the election? They’re obsessed with the former3 points

Seems to have gone down well with the public who saw it. The problem is that the vast majority of the public will never see it.2 points

Think about how many league goals Ian Rush scored for Liverpool. Not as many as Roger Hunt.2 points

No idea. I just thought it was funny (tragicomic perhaps). Like he’d gone one level up from warning Masters by proxy2 points

Something is happening in court today, think it means people will be taking partizan sides on twitter about which attention seeker is their favourite2 points

i hate to break it to you folks, but the great British public don't vote on policy or Labour would have won every election in the last 40 years. They repeatedly support labour policies but the vote in the tories. They basically vote for whichever leader they like he best, and the Labour leader always has to overcome an overwhemingly hostile media. All this policy/tactical discussion is irrelevant. people are idiots2 points

The press seem to have rounded on Nuno Espirito Santo for doing such a terrible job at Spurs (3/0/3), but they're still saying Bruce is doing a good job at Newcastle (0/3/3). Now, Spurs have a much better team than we do, so maybe NES isn't up to that job and the press are maybe entitled to have a go at him. But surely, this squad is better than 17th? And shouldn't we be entitled to criticise a manger who performs badly and behaves like a prick as well?2 points

Grasshopper: "For fucks sake, master, you make me walk across hot coals, you make me hold a boiling hot pot of water then you to tell me to keep an eye out for a clue or two about a little story about Brucey you were told when he was still a player, and you would imagine it still applies today ,and it came from someone who had a senior position in a club who are currently in the Championship."1 point

Isnt he a painter & decorator or something? I mean there’s nothing wrong with that as a vocation I just wouldn’t want that person representing my company in court.1 point

People should ask why, despite getting a head start with the vaccine programme, we’re doing significantly worse than our European counterparts regarding daily deaths and new cases. Because when we were doing better with vaccines it was because of Brexit, supposedly. If Brexit isn’t to blame now, presumably it’s government policy.1 point

The amount of twitter accounts by individuals who name themselves something like that Keith bloke has or call themselves implying there a company/group/TV station instead of just putting their names on it and using 'we/us' instead of 'I' never ceases to amaze me. Interviewing fans outside the stadium etc. You're not Jeff Shreeves, mate or Jeff Stelling sitting in your mocked up 'studio'.1 point

Definitely get a car it'll make your stay there so much better, piece of piss getting around and not much stress and breaks up sitting around the pool etc, we've always went to Peyia/Coral bay area and usually pop into Paphos a couple of times, (it's 20 mins drive away). A drive slightly out of your way will get you to somewhere serving some decent bait and a more authentic atmosphere, there was a place near Aphrodite's sanctuary/museum that was simple but superb. We're trying to get back to Cyprus next year.1 point
