Aye, wait until it's too late. That tactic has worked well in the past.4 points

Most believed in the Don like the brexiteers believed in things being better after we leave Europe.2 points

I think that’s what you were getting at incidentally, I used to work with a mackem. Lovely lad, good crack, not a hint of bitterness. He’s intelligent too (no, really) and even he rocked up to volunteer for the pink seat removal malarkey2 points

You can bet that Donald Stewart is currently desperately searching for the receipt to find out what the returns policy is. Meanwhile there's hoards of mackems wondering where they're going to take their next shite.2 points

NUFC are torn about this, on the one hand, it might get the capacity up and get more fans in, on the other hand, crowds are nosediving anyway, plus it'll be cheaper tickets and they'll have to pay someone to remove the old seats as the fans here aren't gullible enough to do it for them.2 points

Tell you what though, Johnson and co. played a blinder throwing their lot in with Trump. Firstly because he lost, secondly because he wouldn’t have done us any favours anyway.2 points

I rarely watch News Night but I saw this last night. "Lord" Hannan is a fucking know nothing moron, even by Brexiteer standards, yet he always seems to be on this program. Boyle put him in his place though with some style.2 points

So after being publicly told to fuck off by the USA we want to join both an Asian and a North American free trade agreement. As for that European free trade agreement right on our doorstep? Nah, fuck those guys. It’s as desperate as it is stupid.2 points

It was a once in a lifetime fluke to get someone of Benitez calibre under this regime. If we get in a replacement it’ll most likely be someone shit, old, washed up and compliant. The only silver lining is I don’t think I could hate anyone more than Bruce (with the possible exception of Allardyce).1 point

Right, so I agree about that. But it’s what she doesn’t do that’s the problem. She delivers the soundbites Johnson and his cronies drip feed her without enough scrutiny. It would be even worse if she was telling us how great she thought Johnson is.1 point

If one side is saying it’s raining and the say it isn’t. The bbc aren’t supposed to just tell us the arguments they are supposed to stick their head out of the window to see who’s right.1 point

Plenty of 'Boris Johnson says' in her tweets and not a lot of, (any?) 'I think' in them.1 point

It was canny funny, when we were in terrible form last season over Christmas, Mark Hughes was suddenly rocking up on telly and being asked questions about us Shameless1 point

Can they please get Daniel Hannan back on Newsnight this evening to ask him just what the fuck he was talking about then?1 point

didn’t the mackems get some of their lot in to change the pink seats a few years back?1 point

Ashley's perfect season - Newcastle in the relegation zone all season with the fans utterly furious/disheartened/apathetic and a manager who is largely despised. Fluke out of relegation zone with one or two matches to go and survive, giving two Vs to all those who doubted his "wisdom". Repeat ad nauseam. Obese people tend to live 6-14 years less than average. This could see him dead by 2031.1 point

It was up there with ugly Betty…seem to remember they were on just as the “lads Friday nights” started to wind down….both fuckin dreadful….1 point

I always find "it could be worse" argument to be very weak. At some point, and personally I think we may have already passed it, the BBC's censorship becomes more harmful than its non-existence. News Night and Maithis are the only exceptions to make me reconsider. But ITV, Channel 5, and especially Channel 4 all hold the government to account more than the BBC.1 point

Willie Garston who played Stanford Blatch on Sex and the City has died. If you see Renton today... ... he's a big fan.1 point

Don’t worry about the prices and the meters, because you got rid of the pesky metric system! The prices will also look much better when you bring back the shilling.1 point
