ian wright absolutely nailed it last night. they just don't care enough. corruption and a dismissal of what's right or wrong is endemic in football, not just fifa.3 points

The next step should be expulsion from the tournament. This isn't a case of a small minority directing racist abuse, it's a large percentage of the Hungarians. Make them footballing pariahs and see how they like that.3 points

FIFA are a joke mind. Hungary have a ban from fans attending UEFA competitions for racism/homophobia etc and FIFA seemed to think it shouldn’t apply to their matches. Idiots3 points

Jesus wept Do they think we aren’t paying attention to the other 19 clubs in the league?2 points

I actually think they’re banned for the next two games but weren’t for England Maybe because England are quite good. It’s such a shame that that racist pack of cunts got to see their side take a walloping either way2 points

First class generally means next day to any part of our beloved United Kingdom so I'd expect it tomorrow. Then again the lazy workshy posties will probably claim long covid and not get it to you on time.2 points

he's another pardew: happy to lick the owner's hoop clean, grateful just to have the job as he knows we're the only PL club stupid enough to offer him one anymore2 points

Ashley has been trying to sell for the last seven years approximately. Whether you go or not makes no difference to him. If people are still getting enjoyment from going to the match then that’s up to them. Whether it’s routine and going for a few pints either side with their mates or going to cheer on 11 twats then that’s up to them. Basically, don’t knock other fans. Ultimately it makes no difference to Ashley.1 point

‘Look lads, we’d love to have spent more but the squad was so shite that we couldn’t get a single penny for any of the 18 players who left’. How can they claim that their past frugal approach was correct and has allowed them more flexibility in future windows yet the extent of that flexibility was one £20m signing and not enough for even a single loan signing?1 point

I wonder how much of the depleted fund they paid for him to video this. Fucking excruciatingly embarrassing this ex-Football club is now under the current management.1 point

Think my reply to their tweet with the actor who played Santiago was the catalyst tbh.1 point

Fucking embarrassing. I don’t even get why they bother, we know they don’t give a flying fuck so why do they occasionally randomly trot out some excuse? It changes fucking nothing, everyone knows it’s complete bollocks.1 point

This ‘above and beyond’ patter. I like Willock and I’m pleased we’ve gotten him but we’re talking about a player we already had on loan previously, who wasn’t wanted by his club, was available for a reasonable fee (by PL standards) and who there didn’t seem to be any other takers for, for whatever reasons. I can’t imagine the wages were a huge issue either. That’s about as straightforward as it gets1 point
