  2. I've just booked a couple of days in Arran for the end of September if you want to plan for when the next lockdown will be imposed.

  3. We have this (fucking shit) station on at work called Greatest Hits FM or something and they played a few Stones songs as a tribute to Charlie Watts this morning. You’d think they’d have Sympathy for the Devil, Get off My Cloud, Paint it, Black; things where his drumming was a driving force of the track. Nope, we got Miss You and Ruby Tuesday

  4. It’s proper telling of the lazy prick that he is. Clearly in the mood to just shrug off getting knocked out the cup at home to fucking Burnley, just doesn’t give a toss as he’s a complete fucking loser that’s content to give the bare minimum to get his pay. Any proper manager, or remotely competitive person would be frustrated at the loss and never come out with something as ridiculous as saying we didn’t lose because it went to pens. This fucking gutless cunt shouldn’t be anywhere near a Premier League club, he was struggling at the championship level even when Villa let him piss money up the wall. The worst part is this prick isn’t the first that got the job for no fucking reason, what had McLaren done? We got him off the back of failing at Championship Derby County, Pardew? The spineless cunt couldn’t get a side with Rui Fonte, Lallana, Lambert, Davis, etc out of fucking League One, and Kinnear was the pinnacle of this, a bloke who had failed decades prior and a good chunk of football barely had any clue who the rancid cunt was. The kicker is they’re basically all unbearable pricks to boot. A few of them, Bruce included, didn’t even come cheap . What a fucking throbber Ashley is.

  5. Lose to Southampton then nee game for a couple of weeks so plenty time to bring in a proper manager,as in a manager who has a bit football knowledge.

  8. I still don't get it. Why are we forced to name four goalkeepers in the squad because two of them are injured? Surely the one who looks like he's going to be out the longest gets left out of the squad until January?

  9. How is getting knocked out of the cup not the dictionary definition of losing ffs? Does he think we get a second leg after pens?

  10. You'd think we'd be league champions by now the amount of concentration we've put on the league all these years. (Nice to see the 'haven't lost' spin being put on it by serial loser, Bruce. Charnley obviously saw a kindred spirit when he appointed him).

  11. Fucking tragic man, just counting down the games until they finally realize they need to sack this blithering twat. We can focus on getting a kicking every league game now.

  13. Aye that waterfall. My mate did it last year and said its a great walk so planning on getting up there later in the year.

  14. I didn’t but you easily could, depending on your dog(s). The little terrier is knocking on a bit though (there’s your euphemism, Renton). The greyhound, apart from getting excited at all the sheep would probably overheat. But there’s no narrow ridge walks or anything on that route and it would be fine I reckon

  16. I think the support has been rendered apathetic more than fractured. The vast majority are desperate to see the back of Ashley and co. but feel there's fuck all they can do about it. The fact that he's actively appearing to try and sell the club to people who could actually take us forward, but is getting blocked by the premier league and the so called big clubs who don't want to see their share of the pie decreased, only makes people feel more helpless in trying to change anything. Would not buying tickets actually help now? I suppose you could take the view that if the revenue kept decreasing, Ashley might be forced to accept a lower amount for the club and therefore bring other prospective buyers into play. But imo that will just see him further restrict spending and resulting in our relegation and possible fall down the league like the inbread down the road. You can argue that we would eventually do a Leeds etc but that's taking a big risk and asking people to look ten years or more into the future before returning. How do you ask young kids to do that? Unfortunately very sad is the only way to describe the situation.

  18. The goals we concede have nothing to do with cowardice but are mostly down to mediocre players being managed by a shit manager.

  19. Right, so if every team has players who show this COWARDICE is there any value to endlessly mention it? The number of times you bitch about it make it seem like you think COWARDICE is the reason we're in the shit. When, in reality, it's poor management, poor recruitment and poor quality.

  22. Literally every team does, so we're not at a disadvantage because of it. Maybe obsess over something that has greater impact on our results, like our disorganised defence, our inert midfield or anything else that makes up Bruce's remit?

  26. 50,673 reasons why ashley is still at this club. for over 14 years he's held the supporters of what used to be nufc in utter contempt. he's stamped all over the heritage of the club and city by renaming the ground. he's ensured there can be no future extension to the ground in its historical position for his own profit. he's overseen the stadium he inherited turn in to a shabby advertising hoarding for a company with the moral compass of a dead slug. he covered the front of our shirt for years with fucking WONGA and some tacky asian online gambling site. he's ensured we're unable to compete financially with clubs of a much smaller stature by stifling our commercial revenue. he's absolutely shit all over two of the top 3 newcastle living legends of my generation in keegan and shearer. I'm amazed he hasn't come up with a plan to punish in some way those who are old enough to have sang 'my eyes have seen the glory of macdonald scoring goals' he treated the one man in benitez who offered us some hope like a cunt. he's employed despicable, sycophantic twats like pardew and bruce to lower expectations, remove the heat from himself and who will willingly discredit the supporters. rather than strengthen he's ensured another relegation battle by starting the season with a weaker squad than the previous one. he's failed to invest in the training facilities despite promises to do so till they resemble those of a non league club. he's created a gaudy presentation of a permanent signing of a loanee which was lapped up in a manner similar to that usually afforded to a team which has won a title. mind-boggling that people pay this cunt.

  28. I remember when players made themselves big in an attempt to make the target smaller. It was classed as giving it your all for the team.If ‘every’ team does it,it doesn’t detract from my cowardice accusations towards some of our players.Shar showed no interest in making himself bigger, therefore didn’t give it his all in attempting to stop a goal.Shelvey not running around is Shelvey not doing his best intentionally.Lewis allowing the ball to come in from the wing by turning his back is another example. Not giving 100% is resulting in goals conceded and games being lost. They’re not simple errors from poor players, they’re deliberate actions from poor players.Cowardice is a contributory factor as to why we’re shit in most games.Yes,Brucey is tactically useless, and his team selections can be baffling, but if every player gave 100%,this discussion wouldn’t be necessary. As no one else highlights the cowardice,I can only assume that everyone is happy with the way we concede goals, regarding players turning their backs,or getting out the way of shots,as in ‘they all do it so just accept it’.
