He should have just called it Rich Energy Zero, which represents the number of cans we'll ever see in the shops.3 points

If you’re doing it long term, Renton, serviced apartments are about the same price as a travelodge, and much nicer places to stay.1 point

I’d take a salary cut to get out of the house for a few days a week after working at home with the wife and kids full time for almost a year1 point

Taking the Fulham results over the last 10 games and averaging out the points. If they continue then they are on course for 28 points this season. I’m not worried about Sheff utd or west brom.1 point

See, that's part of my motive for doing it. I reckon I could get it down to one night a week within a couple of months, plus I love trains. Whats not to like?1 point

Before COVID I was doing 3 days / 2 nights in London every other week. I did enjoy it but I had a colleague in the same boat so we stayed at the same hotel and went out for a drink / bite to eat most nights. There were a few people in the office who were usually up for the odd pint too. But even then living in a hotel / out of a suitcase gets on your tits after a while and it wasn’t even every other week. It’s doable but the cons are getting a bit lonely/homesick from time to time and the travel being a pain in the arse, especially coming home after a long day and not getting back into the house until 10pm. On balance it was worth it from my point of view though1 point

I spent about three years going from here to England Mon-Thursday/Friday. It was alright for a while but it’s does get tiring, I definitely couldn’t do it now with kids. The best part of it was getting to go out after work most nights with the others who were over, it would have been a lonely existence otherwise. Two nights a week is doable but the early morning starts on a Monday and late arrival home later in the week will grate on you after a while.1 point

Aye as much as I absolutely despise Bruce and want a proper manager getting relegated would be catastrophic.1 point

Has anybody here ever done a long distance commute, I'm talking Newcastle to Manchester? I know Alex did Newcastle Belfast for a long while, staying over in Norn Ireland digs over the week. I'm thinking of getting the early train in on Monday morning, staying in a travel lodge Monday and possibly Tuesday night, then heading back on the evening of Tuesday and Wednesday. Working at home the remainer, gradually reducing the amount of time in office. Does this sound feasible? Sick of wasting my life in my current job but my industry is massively concentrated in London and the NW. Covid has opened up the possibility of home working which could massively help me.1 point

Shelvey has been shit for ages. I’ve been surprised when I’ve been to games where he seems to have had loads of fans applauding almost everything he does. He offers next to fuck all. As for Hendrick, apart from his second booking being stupid, the first one was a terrible tackle that probably should’ve been a straight red.1 point

21 days til we get winnable game.s Time to hopefully get Wilson and Manquillo back on their feet. Shar looks like the good old fashioned cruciate. (I'm nee doctor mind) Go in with The Longstaffs and Willeck v Chelsea and Man U. Although if you can walk (and Shelvey usually does) you'll be an almost certain starter. Shelvey is a disgrace.1 point

Hayden earned his wages. Thought he was brilliant today filling in at centre half again. Hopefully now that the waste of space that is Hendrick is suspended for a game, we can get Willock and Hayden into a midfield partnership with ASM, Almiron and Fraser ahead of them, and please god Wilson, who I hope isn't too badly injured, ahead of them. That's a very decent midfield and attack to be working with, so Bruce will likely persist with Shelvey. As for defence Clark and Dummett can slot into those centre back roles, so we shouldn't be too badly off, although we'll certainly be missing a bit of pace in that department. The one thing you can say about the team is that they are still fighting on the evidence of that last twenty minutes, and we'll need at least that if we are to get anything out of the next two games.1 point
