Sacking Hughton was my “fuck this” moment. If it hadn’t been clear enough before, their treatment of him, and replacement by Pardew before his chair was cold, made it blindingly obvious to me that they were a bunch of venal cunts who weren’t worth my money.3 points

Am on about when Hughton was appointed caretaker after Kinnears heart attack, when Shearer came in around the beginning of April? .the season of the Keegan/Dennis Wise debacle..Shearer was appointed too late, obvs. Agree completely about Hughton’s second sacking, too close to the players for Ashley regardless of results, reading between the lines he very likely took their side in the bonus dispute.3 points

I woke up this morning thinking we were playing Arsenal at 8pm tonight. Upon learning from my son we were playing on Monday, it was like waking up on on Saturday morning thinking it's Wednesday and then realising it's Saturday. Weekend saved!3 points

Part of the reason for not signing experienced players is that he chases anybody that dares express an opinion. Nolan, Barton, Keegan, Rafa etc2 points

Three days after Hughton was peddled. As subtle as Gengis Khan choosing a new lass. 😑2 points

The Hughton sacking though? Look at Ashley's record for hanging onto terrible managers or even worse, actively chasing shit managers, appointing them then clinging on to them far too long but sacked Hughton who was just a promoted coach, probably not on mega money, had us roughly midtable and in no danger whatsoever of going down. They're fucking maniacs who've ran NUFC. Hughton by all accounts is a quiet socialist/ex-players union rep I believe? Obviously didn't go down too well with Llambias and his boss when they were trying to move the goalposts on the player bonuses as I'm sure Hughton would've backed his players plus they'd obviously met Mr Gobshite Pardew and decided he spoke their language for better than Chris did. He was replaced fairly quickly. (By NUFC's standards).2 points

Still missing the point, isn't he. How else was he supposed to leave? Lie about not getting new deal over the line? He just can't help it, can he? Won't admit that, if anything, we were a much better marshalled team with low percentage of possession, not a team which has the worst possession (and many other) stats, but still unable to defend when required. He's a complete UM2 points

To answer PL 1) Don’t know 2) Don’t know I nipped up to check on newly vaccinated Ma Fist this afternoon, since it’s my late brother’s birthday today, and to check a 2 day old leak she’d only told me about this morning. The leak wasn’t too bad, dripping slowly from the ceiling/wall joint of her downstairs loo- she’d rang the council who’d booked a call out to fix it this coming Tuesday… …then I thought “ Hang on, the fusebox is on the other side of this wall…” Looked in the utility cupboard to find water tracking down the mains supply to the upstairs, through the fusebox, dripping out of it and tracking down the earth cable. Emergency plumber and sparky turned out within an hour and a half of me calling them, and all fixed and shipshape. Total cost to Ma Fist- £ Fuck All God bless socialism.2 points

Thats not strictly true..he will act, just not in time...He sacked Hughton & McLaren...we could’ve been relegated on the last day of the season under both Pardew & Carver though...1 point

I think that 52% figure is really misleading, as it was mainly vaccine failure immediately after vaccination. https://www.bmj.com/content/372/bmj.n18 I've discussed this with work colleagues. Normally I'd be completely against going against a product licence in this way. But imo, the gravity of the situation demands drastic action if we want to maximise the saving of lives. But it's a risk and my colleagues don't agree with me. I was happy with 6 week spacing, I admit much less so with 12 week spacing.1 point

Can’t get over the lunacy of these latest quotes. No wonder our players look beaten from kick off with this defeatist, serial failure saying shit like this.1 point

surpassed him ages ago I reckon. his recently departed parents (thats the two people sheffield wednesday were extremely accommodating over for bruce before he fucked them over) are probably looking down (or possibly up, being as they raised the morally bankrupt twat) and thinking... 'fuck off steve, you fucking fat manc cunt'1 point

He's quickly leaving Pardew behind in the "God, I hate this cunt" stakes, and that's one hell of an achievement.1 point

Brucey’s ability to accept criticism is work in progress.1 point
-
Bruce's words of acceptance of criticism of the Sheffield game mean nothing when he's still trying to suggest that it's just the odd game like that and Brentford that are going wrong. Anyone with eyes can see that we've been utter dogshit for a season and a half. I could accept the Liverpool performance as being decent if it was alongside other performances where we played with some ambition to be on the front foot and have a go at teams who's playing staff doesn't far exceed our own. But we've seen us get hammered off Brighton this season, grab a draw against Fulham only because of a pen and a red card and get totally undeserved wins against West Brom and Palace. These teams aren't the cream of the crop, they're full of many players that we would look at and say aren't any better than what we have (although I assume they all have better central midfielders than the shite we have), they're low on confidence and yet we set out to sit back and give them all the opportunities they want to pass the ball amonst themselves up to the edge of our box and look like they're world beaters.1 point

As for the forward play, ASM, Wilson and Joelinton weren't here with Rafa and he's having a fucking mare working out what to do offensively and coupled with the defensive side starting to crumble.......1 point

It was always a matter of time before the drilled effect of Benitez began to wear off as well as the fear they couldn't hoodwink him whereas you'd imagine the difference stands out a mile between players comparing the two.1 point

I think that's what bothers me the most. Here's a manager who we're told will 'sort out the defence', 'make Newcastle tough to beat', and yet he's turned a top half defence into a fucking shambles. Easier to get through than a pack of Space Raiders. He was a top class centre half, wasn't he? How is entirely incapable of organising some fairly decent players into a fairly decent defence? It would be like if Shearer couldn't improve the strikers.1 point
-
Under the previous manager people were saying we had the best group of central defenders just about anyone could remember. It speaks volumes that Bruce can’t even coach players in the position he played in1 point
-
The manner in which the politics played out was very coup like. They took a 48:52 vote split and took it to the most extreme position possible without having no deal. Coupled with Johnson's parliamentary shenanigans, I think we can call it a coup and still blame people for voting to enable it.1 point
