Wor lass been rabbiting away all match. HT whistle goes and she says she'll go and do stuff around the house 'while the match is on'.9 points

Renton, I know this is a stressful time for you but you can’t be coming out with outlandish claims like ‘Gemmill is better than this’ and he’s ‘a funny poster’ with no evidence to support it. Seriously though, without levity and humour what have we got left?5 points

It would have been a slightly sweeter victory if Pickford was in goals. Apparently he's well overrated, though can't recall where I heard it first.3 points

Fairly sure local NHSE groups are going into halls & testing regularly at the moment but all students in halls need to be tested before going home to their families for Christmas. That would appear to me to be imperative.3 points

Townsend doesnt think it's a penalty, and Osman agrees. Haha, suggested Wilson had no intention of getting the ball, you know, despite the fact that he, you know, got the ball2 points

Sure Donald snr, just have to repeat this, some day someone will believe your narrative.,, meanwhile2 points

I work at Durham Uni and after all the affected colleges went into self isolation the numbers decreased dramatically. Would have been interesting to see the figures if all the daft sods had done what they were told to and not party during Freshers week....2 points

Can’t possibly extend furlough for the north at 67% it’ll destroy the economy, oops the south needs to close, 80% furlough darlings 80% furlough for everyone.2 points

Why don't you just narrow it down to your kids' exact year group as being the one that definitely needs to stay in school?2 points

I’ve always held that we can’t truly love others until we love ourselves, so I’m off to the shed.1 point

Im normally as critical as ever of us but fair play, I know it was a weakened Everton team but we put some decent moves together and actually deserved the 3 points. The move where Longstaff nearly scored was the type of quality football we rarely play, same with the ASM chance. Like the team he put out, although would probably prefer maybe Haydon in there for Hendrick. Almiron and Wilson were class, Fraser off the bench looked sharp. Remember Almiron did a orgsmic flick to ASM at one point.1 point

Right then @RobT, you're starting every match thread from now on. Welcome to your new life.1 point

No doubt it was better than what we've seen at times this season when we've just sat back and seemingly hoped for the best, but I suppose it comes down to personal taste in terms of playing style. Again at least we had a discernable style of play today. Long may it continue if we keep getting points. Well at least until the end of the season when Cabbage head is given a terse thank you, sacked by the Saudi's having bought the club, and we go on a massive spending spree on players, coaching staff and infrastructure 😉 I can dream for now at least.1 point

Disgraceful stuff from Darlow not to go for goal when the Everton keeper was in our box.1 point

And if you can’t decide whether the ref has made a clear and obvious error within 20 seconds then it isn’t clear and obvious.1 point

No,you all agree now that you were wrong to disagree with me when I said Everton had signed a dodgy keeper. So apart from that no.....for now.1 point

As an aside, went to that Everyman Cinema in town yesterday to see Hocus Pocus (wor lass loves it, don't start) and let me tell you, that was a very comfortable way to fall asleep in a dark room watching a film. Canny chebs on Sarah Jessica Parker and Bette Middler goes full pelt though, fair play to them both. **1/2 from what I saw in between pouring Moretti and napping.1 point

If you cherry pick yesterday’s figure then it’s true. The figures have been heading down since lockdown was introduced and the R rate is currently at 1 but it’s too early to judge how much of a success it has been.1 point

Fuck me yeah.... I was at my brothers 40th in Edinburgh on the Saturday night...,got a couple of hours sleep then got the 0800 train from Haymarket with a breakfast consisting of a four pack of Strongbow to the game. Think I had a couple with @Howmanheyman postgame in the Percy, a fuckin brilliant day.... 10 years on, not allowed into the City of Edinburgh to celebrate my brothers 50th & the mackems are in divi 3 without a pot to piss in, so not all bad1 point
