  1. Making up complete shite off the back of that total wanker Tariq’s twaddle. He will then attack fans for being excited about a takeover he thinks is bullshit despite it being so real Ashley is bringing in legal help to try and push it through The bloke really is coming out of this terribly.

  4. Also, if I’ve understood this Tariq fella correctly, Newcastle fans should be asking an owner (who never speaks to them) questions about non-specific bids / enquiries he’s meant to be ignoring that probably don’t even exist? Cheers. I’ll get right on that, mate. Meanwhile, Edwards, who cannot resist even the slightest opportunity to wind up Newcastle fans has received similar information about Ashley being unwilling to sell but hasn’t previously mentioned it. What an absolute fucking pile of shite that bloke comes out with

  9. I’m not normally one for conspiracy theories, but there's a brilliant documentary on BBC2 about Covid. Two Chinese scientists from the Wuhan research centre, where Trump suspects it was engineered, were due to get on Malaysian flight MH370. It is thought that they were involved in the development of the virus, and were intending to disperse it around in the USA. The intelligence services discovered their plans and deliberately downed the plane. But sadly neither of them actually got on the flight though. It’s really interesting. Have a look for it on iplayer. It’s called two wongs don't make a flight.

  20. Yeah I know they didn't get on, but for plane to have been shot down "intelligence" must have thought they did. Whole thing is preposterous.

  21. Aye lets kill loads of innocents instead of waiting and taxiing the plane to a remote part of the airport, grabbing it when it lands, lifting the suspects, suitably bio-hazard suited up etc, and quarantining aforementioned innocents. But no, we'll give up on the political capital of foiling such a plot and commit mass murder instead. Makes Perfect sense.

  24. Has this bellend not taken over their club yet? How fucking long has this shit been going on now seriously. It's like an unbelievably shit version of our own takeover drama except with no money, no apparent reason for any delay and no chance of any progression of their club's stature no matter what happens. That beard is a crime against humanity though so they've fucking nailed the human rights abuses tangent. How are they doing this year anyway, I had the impression that they were looking better for going up than the last two tries.

  29. And another thing, has the phrase "luxury beef jerky" even been used before? "Barkeep, a package of your finest luxury beef jerky which I shall wash down with this delectable beverage of Rich Energy!"

  32. And that the fans were against his appointment from day one because of his sunlun connection and following on from Rafa was always going to be a near impossible task and that our expectations were way too high for a club that hasn’t won a trophy for over 50 years. Then Fat Heeded Sam will be next to be interviewed endorsing the bollocks he’s just said.

  33. Totally agree with all of this. It's one thing to play so deep that the opposition can't get past you and are limited to shots from outside the box, but if you can't retain or do anything progressive with the ball when you do get it, you are eventually going to get caught out like we were yesterday and last week. Then you are just hoping for fluky goals. That isn't a way to set your team out, it isn't sustainable and it's awful to watch. Comparing it to the worst of it under Rafa doesn't wash either. When Rafa was finally allowed to sign the attacking players he wanted, he had us attacking with a plan and the players looked like they all knew what they were supposed to be doing. Yes we've lost Rondon and Perez but we've now replaced them with Wilson, ASM, Frazer, Joelinton and Carroll. We're actually better off and have the same players available to play behind them yet we have no idea whatsoever how to move the ball forward with any conviction. You have to look at the manager and he can't keep saying it's a work in progress.

  34. Yes we’ve learned a lot from the first wave and it seems to be showing given current patient outcomes. No, we don’t have any more ventilators. The first time around we stopped all routine surgery and used the vents that would’ve been in those theatres but we’re currently still running routine surgery so they’re in use. And the elderly are still by far making up the greatest number of admissions although we are seeing younger patients presenting in greater numbers than last time. We’re still run into the ground and have large numbers of medical and nursing staff either testing positive themselves or being asked to isolate having been in contact with positive patients or family members. It’s taking a massive toll on staff physical and mental health. 7 months in and I’ve personally never been tested, nor have many of my colleagues so we could be spreading it all over the place.
