Is anyone actually bothered? If we’re lucky we’ll stay up. Maybe we’ll get a draw against one of the protected clubs. Hooray. Its not worth investing time in.6 points

It’s as mysterious as someone seemingly only posting on here to get bites off fans of the same club they support or taking a perverse pride in being a soopafan of a club that shits all over its fan base5 points

It was revenge for Leazes Mag, and a lot of other things. And there was nothing that we could do about it. Leazes was a made man and Fish wasn't. And we had to sit still and take it. It was among the Admins. It was real greaseball shit. They even shot Fish in the face so his mother couldn't give him an open coffin at the funeral.5 points

Rewriting the test to achieve what, in future? I've made peace with this now, and also with ceasing to pay any attention to the PL anymore. I'm not going to sit and pretend that I have any interest in being a "know your place" football club in a league dominated by duplicitous, fearful competitors. I hope anyone who can just 'enjoy the day out' can still manage to derive enjoyment from a non-competitive club, but I can't.4 points

Place I used to work had a lad like that. He once called up and said his dog had tooth ache. An admin lass said that was the last straw and emailed the main gaffer. He said he would sort it. He just emailed the lad asking him not to upset her4 points

I liked the comment about Williamson saying that inflated grades would mean people being promoted above their level of competence would make Alanis Morrisette's head explode.4 points

We’re gonna invite Fish out for a meal to make him an admin.4 points

Careful Fish, If you're part of a crew, nobody ever tells you that they're going to kill you. It doesn't happen that way. There aren't any arguments or curses like in the movies. So your murderers come with smiles. They come as your friends, the people who have cared for you all of your life, and they always seem to come at a time when you're at your weakest and most in need of their help.3 points

It's a fucking disgrace like. As you say, people's lives are at stakes, in fact their whole adult lives. I understand that most of the kids at my school have had their marks downgraded, with dozens missing out on their chosen universities and courses. The school was doing well on an upwards trajectory, but apparently they are including historical results from 5 years ago to adjust the results. Fucking tory cunts, just when you think you can't hate them more....3 points

Amen. Being competitive in The Championship is way more fun than being utter shite in The Premier League.2 points

I once had a few spliffs and a couple of beers and played rounders at a house party. Nearly broke my ankle twice before giving up. Wet grass.2 points

Real life ED-209. Why they gave it Renton's walk, I couldn't tell you.2 points

It’s ridiculous that the league needed 2 weeks and all sort if public pressure to give that kind of statement.2 points

It’s the club that has been left in a limbo and been put in a huge disadvantage.2 points
-
Indeed. It’s been a ridiculous approach. If they were in the belief that it would have been the state who was running the club they could easily have made a decision on that basis. But the hubris of the league to determine how a club has to be structured for their own liking is ridiculous. If they were not happy with the information not being in line with their regulations they should have rejected the owners.2 points

and just like that any lingering interest I had is gone. I hope the top 6 have fun in their league xoxo2 points

Premier League break their silence. Martin Samuels obviously tipped the wink this morning for his story. Basically, the PL decided that MBS wouldn’t pass their test so pursued the narrative that he would be the man in power at NUFC. They backed the PIF into a corner by offering “independent arbitration”, who refused because MBS is no more going to be in charge of NUFC than he is of any other purchases PIF have made. Also, the PL are rewriting the test so that the top 6 won’t be bothered by this sort of thing in the future2 points

Yet at the time Haas said it was an amicable split and down to a corporate restructure at Rich Energy and Storey claimed they pulled out because of the team’s poor performance. Whatever agreement they had could only have been terminated if both parties agreed. As appeared to be the case here. Also, how would a sponsor of a separate team pressure another team into getting rid of one of their sponsors? Sounds like he’s a weapons grade bullshitter which is fucking great tbh.2 points

I do enjoy that this is a bloke that if going off that story about the F1 team he went for, and what Sunderland are currently, he’s targeting heavily distressed assets yet the mackems think he’s going to come in spunk a wedge and make them a PL force? And these daft cunts call us deluded. I’ve not read anything about his F1 involvement but it seemed dodgy and I’ll fated, so it seems to me he’s using these type of takeover attempts to get some free advertising for his 29p battery acid.2 points
