I’ve voted labour all my adult life (bar a libdem protest vote post-Iraq) and still will but I’m not really bothered any more. It’s apathy about people too stupid to see beyond their own prejudices. I know they’ve been targeted by neo-liberals and have been made to believe all these bogeymen (lefties, immigrants, the metropolitan elite etc) are the reason for their problems but what’s the point of trying to help people so easily duped who hate you for it anyway. Let them reap what they sow for once and enjoy their ‘freedom’ after Nissan et al fuck off and the alternative is picking vegetables and working in Amazon warehouses. Perhaps then it’ll dawn on them what they’ve done. If they're lucky enough to have a job4 points

He let the miners in SJP for nothing when the strike was on which I'd forgotten about. Seen him out and about like Gemmill and thought it was radge as well seeing him strolling about Eldon Square not that long after the WC in Italy. He brought a NUFC team to the dome in Walker as well and everyone was just wandering amongst them and he was no bother whatsoever, it was as if it was a working men's club were playing and he was their manager. Loved his voice and him saying he'd have chinned Rijkaard if he'd spat at Jackie. RIP big man.3 points

She's fucking horrific. I don't like May but Leadsom having a pop at her for not being a mother tells you everything you need to know about her. Aye she apologised afterwards, but that doesn't wash the cuntiness off.3 points

I met Jack Charlton once after an away game I think at Luton. Due to knowing "fingers" I used to tickets for the players lounge. Anyway Jack strolled in and started chatting to me and my mate. He was genuinely decent. The really bizarre thing was though he wasn't tall at all. Afterwards we looked at each other and both said How come he was such a shortarse?. Its baffled me ever since3 points

I'm actually quite saddened by Charlton's death though I understand he's had dementia for a while so sometimes it's a bit of good thing if they go. I hated him when he was our manager, I'm honest enough to say and was glad he left. Then a few years later I say him speak at my mate's cricket club dinner and he mentioned that despite playing his entire club career for Leeds, there was only one club team he would get out of his seat for when they scored and that was us. I think the contrast with his "Mister Man United" brother was what made the comment for me.3 points

None of the shit has really the fan yet though. Although I’m pretty much at the point now where I’ve stopped giving a fuck about people who continually vote against their own interests. Fuck the fucking lot of them.2 points

Elton's B side to that Diana tribute was also a tribute to Mother Theresa who passed away in the same week. Not many people know about 'Sandals in the bin' for some reason?2 points

Watford away was the first away match I'd been to that we got beat in. 1980 ish ? I'd been to a few away games up until then and never seen us get beat away ( imagine that !!) Bit of a shock to me back then because I actually believed the song..Newcastle United..will never be defeated oh to be that young, daft and very naive again.1 point

I understand his section about Bruce being a decent bloke etc, but he’s missed what I reckon is the majority feeling towards him. I loved Hughton, was bemused by JFK,I fucking despised Pardew with a seething passion, I was embarrassed by Dutch Schteve and Carver. Utterly in love with Rafa. I’m absolutely indifferent to Bruce, if I’m honest. When they engineered Rafa’s exit, the last shred of a fuck I gave went with him. edit; I’m sure he’s aware that so many fans just don’t care anymore, I’m just surprised he didn’t mention it.1 point
