The point I was making was that Long-Bailey wouldn't win and that the other two alternatives were credible leaders. It was in response to someone saying that Labour needed to become a credible opposition again - my point was that under Nandy and Starmer they would be. So SHUT YOUR FACE YOU GIANT CUNT.2 points

I am just wondering if anyone had been into the new Bar n Newcastle? I have walked past a few times and seems to have plenty of TVs with the matches on and a decent selection of beer. It looks like a potentially good meeting place pre match as they do food in there as well.1 point

A mate of mine is a Farmer up there. I actually took him off Facebook because he was posting so much shit bangng on about Labour and Corbyn been useless. I asked him who he was voting for, he replied Tory. I just laughed. He actually did vote remain, but here he is voting for a bloke who has fuck all intentions but a hard brexit. He was also complaining about farm thefts in his local area. Daft cunts cant put 2+2 together.1 point

Aye, good thread here. Looks like things are going to get very messy. Good job we hold all the cards, we have them over a barrel (whilst shooting fish in it), it's a piece of cake, and it will be the easiest deal in history. https://twitter.com/pmdfoster/status/1232951489435402241?s=201 point

Congrats @Kid Dynamite. You'll not know yourself for a while and then you'll resent it just as much as the rest of us.1 point

Unfortunately for him he's restricted by the fact he only has two LBs on the books there. And yes, he has been playing both of them at the same time.1 point

Farmers in the main rely on EU subsidies and cheap EU seasonal labour. Vote to leave EU. Genius.1 point

It was always one level of stupid to want to leave imo but it was stupid to an nth degree to believe that any EU funding for any sector would be replaced by a tory government.1 point

OMG i love both sport and tvs, so i thought i'd go look it up here's some of the reviews i've found on yelp, i'm a yelper https://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/bar-52-indianapolis sad times I mean it says it's Bar 52 Indianapolis and not Newcastle, but it's also in a place called English avenue so it must be pretty much same place, has TV's and sport, same name. maybe it's not the same, here's the reviews anyway people can make their own minds up go football!1 point

You guys are counting him out a little too soon, I think. The country is more than 50% Democrat. If Sanders can properly get the base out in large numbers, which Clinton could not or would not do, just on numbers alone it should be enough to defeat Trump. As I've said a number of times, Trump's base has not grown at all in three years. He holds no appeal outside of his already rabid cult and/or the quickly diminishing number of "moderate Republicans" who are still willing to grudgingly vote for a criminal buffoon who has ripped the heart and soul out of what used to be a decent conservative party. He won in 2016 by winning a considerable but not huge number of Obama voters over. In PA, MI, and WI, he won by a combined total of less than 100,000 votes. In order to win again, he's going to have to repeat that feat and I still find it impossible to believe that will happen, especially since Sanders has a lot of appeal among working-class voters in those states in particular.1 point

The detective inspector eventually got on to Wykiki having something to do with the missing admin girls was when he noticed Wykiki's lawn had rectangular patches of freshly dug up soil all about 6" long.1 point

If it isn't called Bar Tholomew I'm not interested, even if it has got tellys, food, a decent selection of beer and it could well be a potentially a good meeting place before the game, not one fuck will indeed be given.1 point

I've been saying for years that what Newcastle is missing is a bar that shows SPORT & FOOTBALL. It's such a rare thing to find these days.1 point

The other 30% are the admin girls who just all suddenly left at various times since wyki started there 🤔1 point
