This has to be the most obvious mackem we've ever had, including the ones who just announced they were mackems from the start. I recall a few weeks back when "marra" slipped into one of his posts hits every mackem stereotype going despite his efforts to go under the radar.4 points

cripes! i didn't realise there was that many gifs on the internet! and on that note and as an aside, way back in the olden days when the internet first began the only newcastle forum i was aware of was the old rivals net forum talk of the tyne. seem to recall it was closed down, possibly due to the naming of the grosvenor hotel bad boys and what they'd supposedly got up to. i could be wrong mind, i was far from a prolific user. anyway... i do remember there was a poster on there called t00nraider with the exact same use of the two '0's instead of 'o's who i'm sure played the same the contentious opinion card. got to be heading towards the best part of twenty years ago, if they're one and the same you have to admire the dogged but futile determination to wind folk up!2 points

I wonder how concise it would be possible to get with a film/show review on here. I'll kick us off: E.T. O.K.2 points

went for a beer after skiing on Sat and they must have had a Rush playlist on because they played all my faves, not gonna lie, it got me a little choked up. Neil Peart moved to my hometown and grew up there so Rush was always playing on local radio, here is a cool article from the local paper, authored by Mr Peart in 1994. https://www.stcatharinesstandard.ca/whatson-story/9804404-neil-peart-in-his-own-words-growing-up-in-st-catharines/?fbclid=iwar2wvzy2d7icbllywlxzzgh4wrt6l1p9hnucysk8xxg2x2uohkjme63p8mg1 point

Southgate always watches the likes of Grealish when they’re up against unsurmountable odds. A conspiracy theorist might say he’s looking for excuses not to pick them.1 point

Dummet injuring his other leg screams a typical Souness/Pardew brought back before the original injury fully healed job.1 point

Joelinton gets visibly physically frustrated when play breaks down when the ball comes to him. Most of the time he waves his arms around like a twat sat on his arse. That shouldn’t be the reactions of anybody good enough to get paid to play the game. That’s not a lack of effort, but it’s fuckin poor all the same. Get on with the game you massive fanny1 point

That was an absolute quality goal. Gayle deserves a lot of credit as does Willems. The injury situation has to go down to Bruce and his coaching team. Benitez wouldn't have had an injury crisis like this, 100%.1 point

Given our recent history, any politician proposing a referendum on anything more serious than “ what flavour ice cream should we have for dessert next week?” should be shot with shit.1 point
