  4. Except, if Cameron had even a hint of a backbone, none of this would be happening. The bloke is hugely to blame, yet he’s nowhere to be seen.

  5. There's not many batsmen showing it at test level at the moment, whether that's down to conditions, bowler or (my personal belief) the focus on white ball cricket around the world meaning batsmen aren't used to playing the way they need to. As Stokes said, the flip side of that is we're able to see innings like he produced at Heddlingley. Mind the way it's going we aren't going to be able to see the first part of that innings from many players. I definitely think we should be splitting the red and white ball coaching duties. I don't blame the ECB for focusing on white ball these past few years because winning the world cup was massive for us, but it does feel somewhat overdone when you look at how are test team are performing now. And what happens now? Do we switch it back around and lose our standing as the top odi team or fail to prepare for the T20 world cup? Surely having someone focusing on the white ball game solely would be the better option. Obviously they need to be looking at the make up of the county championship season too but with the hundred starting next year I don't imagine there's going to be any immediate changes with the program.

  10. Finally got round to watching This Time and you can really tell Coogan has been doing this character for 20 years now. Probably his best performance since the original series since it calls for a lot more subtlety in the on-screen segments. He has an amazing chemistry with Tim Key and they did a perfect job of transporting it over from Mid-Morning Matters. Would give the wife a good rimming as well.

  13. We've all done it. I'm not saying Cameron isn't a fucking massive cunt, but if there is a hierarchy of cunts, then Johnson is several rungs higher. Imo.

  14. I agree with you Johnson and Cummings are uniquely special cunts. I don't necessarily think there is equivalence between Cameeon and Johnson. I don't see evidence Cameron is a racist or misogynist. I don't recall Cameron assaulting his girlfriend or get journalists beaten up. At least he is a family man who I think probably loves his wife, rather than a serial cheater who doesn't know how many kids he has. Does that count for anything? Not much maybe, but it's something. Even Johnson's brother thinks he's unfit to be a PM.

  18. Political disengagement, I totally agree about. And you're right about it leading to fascism. Really that's all I meant with my door metaphor concerning Cameron - he opened the door and, apparently, fascism is trying to walk through it.

  21. Aye, fair point, but what people have been “mistaking” as Facism alway, inevitably, leads to actual Facism. Here we are. It’s fucking worrying tbh, as so many people seem to be blithely unconcerned about it. When more people vote for X Factor than for MPs, we’re in bother.

  22. I’ll be honest here Raymundo, if you’ve only just realised that ( the rise of Facism) now, you’ve had your head in the sand. Other than the fucking planet becoming a desert in the next decade or two, it’s the thing that worries me most about the immediate future. History tells us that in Fascist states a worryingly large portion of the population embrace it. There’s a reckoning coming and it’ll be messy as fuck.

  23. Cameron and Osborne introduced cuts to disabled benefits that even Ian Duncan Smith couldn't stomach. Nowt beats that morally.

  24. They’re two cunts. I’ve no confidence that Cameron wouldn’t do the same as Johnson in the same situation, I won’t have a good word said about him.

  26. Cameron is as bad because he thought he could solve everything with referendums. He had 4 . Hitler only had 6 ffs. Bercow jacking his hand today is iironic because if there’s one thing he ensured above all else is that Parliament is indeed sovereign in this country and neither the electorate or the government is above it. Cameron was the antithesis of that.

  28. I suppose given that the DUP no longer matter this is potentially feasible, but it does mean that if Johnson campaigns on this platform he will in effect be giving +10 MPs to the Remain side.

  29. Basically NI would remain in the CU and SM (for all intents and purposes) and GB would leave both. Putting a hard border down the Irish Sea. It’s likely to be a very good result for NI. It would mean leaving with a deal and the two year transition period that goes with that.

  33. Typical mackem, come on here for a wind up and ended up getting wound up himself. Why would I go out of my way to search for a thread? I know it happened, as does everyone else on this forum, additionally I really don’t care what you think. I also never ever said all fans, that’s you getting easily wound up because it’s clearly a sore topic, I said that a good amount of your fan base supported, and defended a sex offender. You’re trying to time when he got the backing while also denying it, pick your lie. Regardless of whether he was charged at the time, he was under serious investigation, singing “he shags who he wants”, roaring him onto the pitch, and saying things like “she was basically 16 marras” on a horribly designed forum is all indefensible. Turah, enjoy League One.

  34. Dreadful fanbase. Not a single thing in your post deflects what I said and it was a 32k average which was propped up by non-attending season ticket holders. As Rayvin stated the fact your home form was worse the away form shows the players simply didn’t want to play there. Another thing to layer on top of my prior post is a sizable amount of your fan base gave vocal backing to a sex offender, openly mocking the victim of that vile bastard.

  35. Their own fans were responsible for getting them relegated from the Championship by making the SOL such an inhospitable and devoid of energy environment to play in. Fewer points won at home than away that season. Who cares how many they're taking to various League One stadiums.
