I don’t post in here much because I’m not an expert and I prefer to learn from people who know more, but.. Im from Boro and I love it (I know - call it Stockholm syndrome) but the recent show on tv about people hunting rabbits with dogs on South Gare really highlighted the tories austerity measures. There is people in the county who are disabled who can’t get support due to shit assessments. There is people working zero hours contracts who get 1 hour a week so they are “employed” and taken off the unemployed list. Im sorting all my qualifications and professional memberships and I’m hoping to be away if I can get a job sorted, me and our lass are looking at either sweden/Denmark or Finland. I don’t even care about the vote anymore, I was and am 100% remain. I don’t want to share a country with the people who are desperate to cut their nose off to spite their face. I recognise this is a complete soliloquy and I’m not apologetic.4 points

You have an interesting discussion here, I am new to the forum and I have a question. How often do you visit football stadiums? Do you like to travel? In a couple of months, we plan to go with friends to Newcastle upon Tyne for the match Newcastle United F.C. Who was already at the stadium James' Park to share your impressions, it is very interesting to listen to how there. At the stadium we will be the first and have already found some useful information at my https://worldstadia.com/st-james-park.html. Here we got acquainted not only with the history of the stadium, but also looked after some good restaurants and hotels nearby the stadium. And what can you advise me?2 points

Hands up if you like dinosaurs. Hands up if you like planet-wide cataclysmic events Hands up if you like underdog paleoentologists who are cousins of Brian De Palma, Scarface director. This article is for you. https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2019/04/08/the-day-the-dinosaurs-died ( Student bonedigger finds a site which is a perfectly preserved record of the actual day the Chixulub meteor hit, its amazing).1 point

Yeah I'm increasingly convinced that May is fucked again. What a fucking disgrace this has been today though. A brazen attempt to hoodwink Parliament into an enforced choice between her deal and no deal. Fucking outrageous.1 point

Imagine if May hadn't gone for the 2017 election. This deal would go through no question.1 point

It is true that Art 1 of the European Council Decision refers to "the Withdrawal Agreement", and not, in terms, to the Political Declaration. However, the preamble to the Decision mentions the WA and the PD in one breath: see paras (5) and (6). Moreover, Art 184 of the WA makes express reference to the PD "of 25 November 2018", and no other PD. Art 184 is about a commitment to negotiate the future relationship expeditiously, implementing the PD. It is therefore clear that the current WA and the current PD are indissociable. So when the European Council asked for the Commons' approval of the WA, this includes the current PD. Call me a liar again and I'll fight you in the car park of a Toby Carvery of your choosing.1 point

Happy Face put this on twitter.... Ive put it in here because my 82 year old mother was admitted to hospital at 3am in return for £0. Never, ever let these individuals have their day in the sun, as they’d hoped for today.1 point

Unemployment figures are meaningless now, it's almost impossible to claim benefit. Its a terrible metric, always brilliantly manipulated by the cunt party. Even if there are a million jobs lost after Brexit, somehow the figures won't change.1 point

The footage of the crowd in the Bristol game Immediately after that kid called them "the best support in England" I won’t harp on anymore in here but fuck me, this is one of the finest examples of dramatic irony in any work ever made.1 point

Tbf, it’s easy to downplay the significance of the competition and the achievement of making it to Wembley but, just to put into context how big a prize it is, Carlisle have won it twice1 point

If the makems weren't playing I honestly wouldn't be aware that the final is this weekend nor which teams are playing. It's probably ranked lower than the Texaco Cup.1 point

I'm just surprised the Premier League have put the Cardiff Chelsea game on at the same time as a major final.1 point
