Not sure we were particularly good but it was a result we needed going into the next few games. Hopefully we can knock Watford out of the cup to keep some positive momentum going into the Man City game but if not, this gives me some hope that we’ll be able to win the important home games that are coming up

Back then it was a one of the most deprived areas of the country and in places it still is. They filmed the first two series of Shameless in West Gorton then tore the entire estate down. Mums family lived in the previous slum which the “new” West Gorton occupied until it was pulled down after the war. They moved to Ardwick Green (opposite the Apollo) to a scheme called Amanda Avenue. Wander up Gorton lane today and see the huge empty lots where giant factories once stood that will never, ever be redeveloped. No offence but this is total bollocks. Cardiff were shit but we dominated the ball, created loads of chances and never looked like conceding. You can only beat what’s in front of you but it was by far the most convincing performance I’ve seen from us this season . I hate the fat twat as much as anyone but I won’t let him stop me from supporting my club and trying to get my son involved. I had a great day at the match. He's absolutely no idea, I was at uni in manchester when city were bought out and moved to the etihad and the area around that stadium was (might still be, havent been in a while) an utter shithole. Add to that, the club don't own the stadium, they lease it from the city council. Had a look at their recent meltdown just now and it’s absolute hypocrisy at its finest on there. They always bang on about how we are ‘self entitled’ and such when they have literally just been through back to back relegations, sold to some potless bloke from Eastleigh who seems to spend most of his time talking shite on Twitter and they’ve had to rebuild like half of their squad or something. Now they are all crying because most of them expected to ‘walk the league’ (again) and the reality is dawning on them that they might not go up this season 😂😂 some of them are on the managers back already so the owner will be next and when they do turn on him it will be amazing considering how he’s put himself out there on Twitter interacting with them. Ok so that was too much to take in for todays visit but...I'll give it a shot when I'm less of a gym amateur. It's canny funny because its the Uni gym and there's all these sports club people who've clearly never drank 10 cans out of boredom and then there's me who's probably closer to a Pete Doherty type character than the de facto semi pro athletes I'm surrounded by Anyway I put the machine on 3 setting...tried to keep a steady 115rpm for the first 8k and then did 120 to 130rpm for the last two and it was just over 16 minutes. Legs feel fine now but I did some other shite with me arms and they feel like jelly. To think I was going to harass the neighbours with some guitaring today too.
