  1. This hasn’t aged well

  2. Are we really their ''biggest rivals''? Here was me thinking we were literally TWO DIVISIONS above. If those bitches want to be our rivals they'll have to earn it. Anyway the fun part is, they haven't figured out that Donald and his Tory mate are skint conmen. Tick tock, I can't wait

  5. I've long thought, as a joke, that this human Weeble Wobble would argue that "2+2=5" if enough people told him "2+2=4" and here we are.

  6. OK that ones on me. I tried to have a regular conversation with him, absolutely nothing personal in there and thats the response.

  9. I think it's summed up by this British empire/superiority trope that it describes. The amount of language from leavers harking back to ww2 or when Britain ruled the waves and other such nonsense is obvious in its influence. No concept of how the 21st century world is or works whatsoever. There was a piece I read today mentioning how leave had broad canvas ideals like "take back control" etc which appeal to people who have no interest in details - however it didn't expand on that to show the same shit with Trump's "make America great again" etc. Basically the world if full of shallow brained morons who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near anything important.

  10. They'll be first to cry on when they spend fuck all next season too, despite the potential for this game being a decent money spinner for them

  11. A long thread but everything in it could have come from a single conversation with CT.

  12. He's not. I thought, in an attempt to better myself, I would try a different approach, just answer the question, nothing remotely objectionable or even an opinion, just some actual facts. He still can't just say "oh right, ok" or even offer a counter point to prove my maths or interpretation is wrong.

  13. So this is going to be the week when Mike Ashley can rightly say he has lost all his money and will be wanking blokes off in the bogs at Scotch Corner services for some coin?

  14. Love that, immediately tries to blame the price on Newcastle he really does know his target audience. They must honestly be the only people that cant see right through that bloke, he’s an out and out cunt and they all act like he’s a saint doing them all a favor and think he really cares. Even the bloke having a pop says this is the first notable bad move that’s been made . How that lot have the neck to call us deluded I’ve no fucking idea.

  19. Brilliant. This is likely a knock on effect of all this press he’s been using NUFC and Rangers for, people have learnt you don’t want to owe this bloke anything. Good to see everything he’s been doing backfiring on him to a degree. Hopefully things like this this keep happening, he’s forced out by the SD board, and gets to a point where he feels he needs to sell NUFC to focus elsewhere.

  20. This is what happens in the Republic of Ireland, where they are set up for referenda. We should send JRM out there on a fact finding mission.

  22. He’s thick, man. Not sure what’s funnier (yet more depressing at the same time) Raab drawing that conclusion from that graph or people like CT just accepting and having no concept as to why we’re laughing at him. It’s about as simple a graphical representation of data as you can get. Guess that’s what happens when you take a perverse pride in never having read a book.

  24. Finished the frozen wilds last night, I've already finished the main game so I'm not re-running the last mission but I can see how FW would make it really easy to finish that last mission, I was OP for it before the DLC, nevermind now. One of the best games I've played this though, Aloy is a brilliant protagonist, really well written, the NPCs are all pretty decent too, it looks great, its well made, combats good and the voice acting is top notch. Absolute gem of a game.

  25. Wages are still lower than they were when the Tories took over you tit.

  26. Going off the diagram hes wrong, eyeing it it looks as though the fastest rise (ie the steepest upward trend) is actually the period between 2014 and 2016 or possibly just into 2016. From a wider point of view the graph shows that wages have stagnated badly since the brexit vote. 16-18 shows no overall rise. Which makes him look stupid considering his other views and positions taken publicly. From an even wider one, 8 of the 10 years shown are under conservative governments and, despite the fact it was on the down before they came to power, we're still not back to the level we were before Cameron became PM in 2010. Looking at the "current level" dashed line it looks like we're currently at 2011 level. Basically this is the sort of graph that a Conservative MP should be avoiding publicising at all costs, since it shows they've done the square root of nothing to improve wages since getting power. Instead he's made himself look a tit by showing it off and claiming it as a positive.

  30. I'm glad we don't have proportional representation anyway, it only leads to instability and weak governments.

  31. It's not an affront to democracy if you believe we have a representative democracy though. MPs are paid to deal with this. The referendum was advisory, after all. If we can't make it work without inflicting huge damage, parliament should have the guts to stop it.
