I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again but people try and make a virtue out of continuing to go and the same applies to those who don’t but 99% of the time those that still enjoy the day out out contine to go and the people that stopped liking it hours the towel and in. There is absolutely no way that Labour will fear 'going down in history as the party that caused no deal'. That's fucking ludicrous. Only one party caused no deal, the one that decided to move away from perfectly feasible if rather pointless Norway style options and embrace utter lunacy. Labour might be remembered for generally doing fuck all about any of this, but not for actively making it happen.

Not all Labour voters were in favour of the Iraq war. There were huge numbers against it. This isn't about political parties, it is about one specific issue that you have supported and how it may result in a member of this board losing his job. It's nuts. A lot, including our own moron CT, point to the fact that some developing country's economies are increasing at a much faster rate than the EU's. The EU is "stagnating" apparently, that's why we need to trade with the rest of the world! Well durrrr. That's just a natural consequence of the EU being a mature developed democracy and having less capacity for expansion than countries with a quarter of their GDP. It's a bit like comparing height growth in children with adults. This is the thing with Brexiters. You point out obvious facts like this, and they will ignore it and then come up with some other whackamole half truth or lie to justify their insane ideology. Then, after a few of these have been disproven, they repeat the first lie. There's almost no scope for reasonable dialogue with these people.

There have already been articles slagging fans of our lot, Manchester United and Arsenal for the pity it wasn’t Ashley/Glazer/Kronke craic. I don’t wish it was him but as many on here have said I wouldn’t feel bad for the bloke, his family would have my condolences, but to be quite frank many would probably be better off if he was gone. Putting football to one side he’s also a massive cunt to his staff, pushes to buy struggling businesses so he can strip them for parts, and seems to always hope and I assume push for less regulated working conditions for factory and shop staff. As for those wishing it was him, he’s made that rod for his own back as far as I’m concerned, it’d have been incredibly easy to endear himself to the fan base from the off but he basically did the exact opposite at every single decision quite often when it wasn’t needed and was simply malicious.
