There was a five minute interlude in the mass for my Mam where the priest spoke about her warmly that really moved me and everyone else . I just switched off my brain Homer style for the rest. People were comforted by a familiar ritual I guess, though the church should learn from the response to the human bit.2 points

I had no idea he was working for BeIN before this whole fiasco, same with Wise. They know controversy and being tossers will get more exposure to themselves and their agenda. Also relieved that my old dear is on her 6th, and hopefully last, chemo session today. At our age we get to worry about the young'uns and the old'uns.1 point

My eldest daughter's been stressed to fuck about her GCSEs, (she takes after me about getting up a height, the poor girl), but....she's actually done very well including a couple where none of us, her included, thought she had a chance in. Relieved and happy for her.1 point
