If loyal Tories like CT hadn’t abandoned them at the last election then they wouldn’t have had these issues caused by their failure to gain a majority6 points

Well the last laugh's on me. All that time running around Leeds paying £20 so you could play a glorified game of zombie tuggy has finally paid off! In case you're wondering my stage name is Knacker Dan and I like a dressing room to myself, a fridge with some scran and some ice cold beer for when the curtain comes down.2 points

“Andrew, I’m struggling to find my character’s motivations for this scene- is she happy with her partner, or does she have deeper reasons for her upcoming actions?” “ Aye, aye, just whip ‘em out love, jiggle ‘em round a bit.” BAFTA incoming.2 points

Votes in Cameron, votes against him on brexit, votes against the majority party that wants to push through his preferred brexit the hardest, blames the people who never wanted brexit in the first place for it not going well. He can't help himself, Christmas Tree and the life of self sabotage by way of being a pathologically contrary prick2 points

This is the thing that I find depressing with politics in this country. The Tories have been in power for long enough now that you couldn't really argue that the current 'plight' of the nation is anyone else's fault. And yet the day we will never see people like CT call the government out over its failings because no one in the UK has enough balls to admit they were wrong about anything. I once thought that Corbyn would make a good leader of the Labour party on the grounds that he was listening to people and wasn't a cardboard cutout of a human being like many of the Blairites. I have since decided that while the latter point is true, I was sadly wrong about the former - he is ineffectual domestically and actively damaging on Europe. While I still have some hope that he might be able to ride the wave again in another election, I'm no longer sure that I would actually want him in power if he's going to sleepwalk us out of the EU anyway. So there, CT - I was wrong about many of the things I hoped for with Corbyn. See? It didn't kill me. Not that he's the only one on here incapable of doing this, of course2 points

Its not for my money, its probably worked out some of our legacy kinks as we've reworked stuff but no. Where it sees the most change is in behaviour and process that people actually execute, theres much more care taken and with it being fresh in everyones mind "lets make sure we're compliant" is considered much more often on other projects so far.1 point

Andrew: "yah, a few of us in East Lancashire small town amateur dramatics society have managed to blag a fan venue, totally thrilled!" Toontastic: " Having any English tapas in the intervals, Andrew?" Andrew: "Fuck off! Not having any of that shiiii.....(Fish joins thread)....err, I mean I don't think we'll bother so much with any food, tbh."1 point

Speaking of English Tapas, I’ve finally got all my kitchen hoohaa sorted in the new gaff, so tonight is our first “proper” (i.e. totally homemade), tea. Chicken kebabs, tzatziki, corn cobs, pitta breads. So, feck-all to do with English Tapas, but there you go1 point

The sooner the Scots and Irish figure out that middle England couldn't give two shits about them the better. If I lived in Scotland I'd be wanting full independence now like. Problem is, how can it be achieved? The currency issue is critical. Could Scotland be fast tracked into the EU without Spain's objections?1 point

Last night was a fuckin piss take tbf. 19 mins of debate on the devolution amendment and not one Scottish MP allowed to speak. This could be it for the SNP.... If I was still living up the road I think they'd get my vote now....this week has shown how little democracy we actually have in this country. Am just about fuckin finished with the lot of them...1 point

No 2 Fernando Hierro steps up. I always liked him, good player and Spain Captain before the current era of all time greats. Good leader, the circumstances of his appointment may galvanize the squad too...1 point

If he gets asked I imagine he'd be tempted but am not sure what anyone could bring now. Iniesta, Ramos and other senior players will run the show now with the no 2/ coaches etc I reckon..1 point

Ok I'll give it a look but yeah, that seems a sensible position. So obviously, we're going to go for the non-sensible option as a society.1 point

I see your 'roads are sexist' article and raise you a hate speech article by the Washington Post: https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/why-cant-we-hate-men/2018/06/08/f1a3a8e0-6451-11e8-a69c-b944de66d9e7_story.html?utm_term=.6cb44d600fa7 "Why can't we hate men?" The media is pathetic.1 point
