  1. I agree with this insofar as it's more about taking something away from others.

  2. It’s the symbolism of a border between the north of Ireland and the south. At the moment the border is invisible, travel is entirely free flowing. If you start installing CCTV at 200 points along the border it is moving us away from the feel of one country. The cameras wouldn’t be up 24 hours before many of them would be torn down. This would happen over and over until they’d become more fortified with a possible human presence to protect them. This again escalates the conflict whereby the people protecting them are warned that their life is at risk by doing so. And that’s without mentioning that a system of CCTV alone is entirely unworkable as a customs solution.

  9. Absolutely Always clear that Smith had no class, but this just compounds it. Moron. This test match has been an unpleasant one, with Warner trying to get hold of the SA wicketkeeper when he said something unpleasant about his wife, and Rabada being banned (and the reprieved) for bumping Smith, but this just takes the biscuit. Equally clear that the Aussies are happy to hand it out and play the high moral ground, but can't take it. Lehman complaining about the crowds getting stuck into his players, but: "I hope the Australian public give it to him right from the word go for the whole [Australian] summer," he said. "And I hope he cries and goes home. I don't advocate walking, but when you hit it to first slip it's pretty hard." http://www.bbc.com/sport/cricket/23778598
