  1. Even if it turns out he felt the blokes arse which he obviously shouldn't have done that doesn't get away from the fact it's a slave built, barbaric, hypocritical blot on humanity that anyone decent should not even consider visiting. That goes for any of the religious shit holes around there.

  3. They do it because us being punished would be the highlight of their season; the same as wanting Rafa to walk or us being ungrateful towards Ashley. Some of them don't care about their club now and are more focused on something bad happening to us.

  4. Obviously he ran but I've never understood the use of "stop or I shoot" when there's no violence or threat involved. Okay he could turn and then pull a gun in which case it's fair enough but shooting someone in the back when they're running away is iffy to say the least. Also if they don't bring charges then fair enough (as in its a waste of time) but shouldn't just lying about it in the face of film evidence mean losing their job?

  5. He was only 18 when he signed for Man Utd and iirc was playing on the wing for a while first. Pretty terrible comparison really. Kane was on loan in the Championship at that age

  6. You said the standard of living had risen for virtually everybody. That's patently untrue for many communities in the North East who took a hammering under Thatcher and later under Cameron and May. Of course median income has shown an upward increase over time since the dark ages (Not just the arbitrary 70s). But does this mean our present system of governance is working? Does it fuck. Take the headline result from that ONS report you quoted: "non-retired households’ median income in 2014/15 remained 3.1% (£900) below its level in 2007/08." Since 2015 that process has accelerated such that the mean decline in pay is 10.4%, a figure only matched by Greece, and in stark contrast to Germany, where pay has increased in real terms by 15%. This is the issue facing us now, and tbh I'm getting sick of stating the obvious to a moron such as yourself.

  7. I'm more positive now, than at any point in the past two years, that I have the right of this. Capitalism has served a grand purpose, but has been soiled and degraded by parasitic rich people. They need to be removed if it is ever going to recover. And if they won't be removed, a new system will replace them. The centreground has nothing to offer until it embraces this, and its refusal to do so leaves us in a battle of extremes. They're playing you for a fool by making you think that what you're supporting is the same capitalism that brought us to such a high standard of living. It's not. What's on offer now is a toxic and cynical wealth grab. Money funnels upwards. Which is why the standard of living is falling. I'm not saying you have to believe Corbyn's vision - and I've said before that politically, I'm a centrist with socially left wing leanings - but you have to choose something that will fix this. And the options on the table are far right, and moderate left (that the media is trying to call far left. Far left would be if they were calling for an end to private ownership of literally everything). Choose moderate left. Any other choice just makes the far right more likely to win. The centre has nothing to offer until we solve this ideological identity crisis.
