Cashing in on an injury prone player while his stock is still reasonably high and the market is inflated is all well and good if there's a replacement lined up, which of course there won't be. Unless it's Joselu and we are going to go into the season with two CFs, three if you count Perez, which I don't.1 point

Not sure I can remember the last time a player looked immediately impressive like Merino did on Saturday. Shelvey's debut was good but this kid gave a complete midfield performance; winning tackles, winning headers, setting people up, going box to box. I sincerely hope it wasn't a one off.1 point
