Howmanheyman 33916
I've just made myself a fried bacon and chopped onion sarnie in pitta bread quickly heated in the pan with mayonnaise added in the middle when made. I'm pleased to report it was very, very nice. Any other sarnies I/we should hear about?
Holden McGroin 6785
My favourite is a toasted pannini with pesto, grilled haloumi, rocket salad and chorizo slices. I occasionally add a bit of chilli sauce to spice it up. AWESOME.

Brock Manson 0
I like to make a grated wendsleydale and red leicester sarnie with mango chutney and a few leaves of rocket. Although every now and then, you can't beat a fish finger and potato rosti sandwich.

Guest alex
Cheese and pickle, preferably with tomatoes and lettuce and mayo. Has to be fresh though otherwise it goes soggy. Love a nice cheese toastie too - pesto, tomato and mozarella for example. Edited September 8, 2009 by alex
Park Life 71
Steak chunks, fried red onion (with a dash of red wine vinegar when frying) with mustard in pitta bread. Monster. Spanish sausage, red pesto, mayo, a couple of rings of fresh onion, pickled chillis, mixed salad in Pitta. Egg and Bacon sarnie, white bread, loads of butter, ketchup and a hint of dijon. Guest Stevie
Sausage, bacon and egg sarnies, are fantastic, it's important the sausage is nice though. Aside from that I love a Norfolk turkey, with caesar salad, and dutch mayonaise on.
donaldstott 0
The BLT is a consistent favourite and has the added advantage of being pallatable early in the morning if the service station is out of all day breakfast sarnies... Aside from that I am partial to the old tuna melt..
