Meenzer 15347
All I know is Gosforth Chippy >>> generic Chinese takeaway on the same parade that's open a bit later so sometimes you have to even though you know it's going to be a crushing disappointment. Tooj 17
I had some awful rice from the Chinese last weekend btw. You could tell it was blatantly Uncle Ben's just re-heated. Egg Fuyong was canny mind.
Happy Face 29
Actually, I'm thinking of Indian chips. They're always disgusting. Chinese aren't great either like. I'm not that partial to chip shop chips to tell the truth though. I'm not really in a position to comment.

Jill 0
Chinese chips are fucking awful. I mean, I'm not a great lover of chips anyway but they're completely grim.
Meenzer 15347
In the absence of a decent chippy round here, this thread has me sorely tempted to implement a lunch/Potato Waffle fusion paradigm right now.

Ayatollah Hermione 13762
Gravy and chips from the Hong Kong on the Fell are well worth a purchase. A mountain of chips for £1.60. Still prefer good old chippy chips though.

k4t0 0
Chinese chips and Gravy are fucking lovely, they have a slight taste of prawn crackers about them, maybe its the sesame seed oil they cook with ? Or some other shit, fuck knows, nice though
asteroidblitz 12
The secret to their taste is the way they 'prepare' them. They par-fry them and then leave them in drawers and finish off the frying process when they're ordered. That's the only decent thing I learned from delivering to them as a white van man in my student days. Oh, and they always pay cash for deliveries from their casino winnings of the previous night.
