Aye it'll be interesting what Villa do this summer, they probably can't afford to keep Rashford or Asensio permanently and they've been huge for them since January.

Rashford is only on loan so Watkins will stay. Otherwise they’ll have to sign 2 or 3 strikers in the summer. i think Rashford is putting himself in the shop window for a bigger club.

Aye sorry I didn't mean us. Callum Wilson looked great at 30 as well, and the drop off when it comes is pronounced. But there are clubs with deep pockets and a need for a striker. Saying that, it's not a deal that would make much PSR sense, but for an Arsenal who we know he loves, if they need a striker to push them over the top in a title challenge for a couple of seasons, they could do a lot worse.

Couldn't see us being one of them. We'd rather spend a lot more to get someone who is younger and on lower wages so that Mitchell could consider the business fit for purpose. Although a lot changes if we have any outgoings...

I wonder if he might leave Villa in the summer. He's clearly now second choice behind Rashford, and he's 30 so that situation isn't going to improve. And he's clearly raging about it. There'd be a few teams interested if the price was right.

He wasn't great tonight but he has 42 G/A in 42 games this season. (27 goals, 15 assists). He has 6 goals in 12 games for us. Reckon he'll be fine once ( if ) he settles into the side.

there's something of a ticket war going on at city between club and fans. the cheapest ticket for Villa was £71 and fans are refusing to pay that for a midweek match. expected to fork out for wembley travel etc at the weekend too.

Villa could realistically win out looking at their remaining fixtures so we win our home games ( which fucks Chelsea) and a point at Brighton and it’s all good no matter what they do.
